I needed help…read moregetting a replacement key what a nightmare instead of him helping me he made my anxiety go higher and when I asked him if the key doesn't work can I get my money back and him telling me to call him so I figure of course that meant call him and I would go back in ti get money back. SO fast forward and my boyfriend tried the key and it didn't work so I call Rod the first day and he has already left so I call back the next day and I talk to him and he just made me feel like I was stupid, anyway I told him about the key he cut (no chip and it couldn't be programmed), to which his attitude changed from being nice to not very nice when I mentioned my money back so that I could go elsewhere...needless to say i felt worse after calling and just wanted to cry...Rod you need to do better and think about this without us customers you wouldn't have a job...I am soooooo not impressed with service and Rod should make it right and take accountability for his screw up (doubt it will happen though because not to many people now adays fix their mistakes!!!

The sales girl ( Jennifer…read morethe owners daughter) is a peach and was great to deal with but heres where my story gets bad I went in last spring (2011) to buy a 2009 GMC 1500 truck everything went great through the deal and financing , I bought new tires off of them and had them installed.. the next day I started to notice a vibration and took it into kal tire where the was way to many weights added this cost me about $30 to have fixed.. then the passenger Airbage light came on ($500) then check engine ($120). still something didnt seem right about the truck but I figured its a new truck to me and i probably just need to get used to it so I drove it about another 1500 km over the next 4 weeks, mind you these were mainly hwy kms being put on and never driven hard.... well jeez this is really weird I have odd clunks shakes and noises happening more and more frequently now so it goes into a mechanic.... wait for it.... I then took it to another reputable mechanic for a second opinion and both estimates came in within $200 of each other.. so you ready for what the estimate was on a just been through the shop truck 5 weeks prior?? total = $9756 everything from steering, suspension and drive line had something wrong so for a $17,000 9,756 120 500 total-------------- $27,376 I could of bought a new truck with a full warranty for about this price please stay away from this pop and Daughter operation it turns out they sell cheap vehicles by buying lease backs at auction and take it to another dealer then pick and choose what and what not to fix

One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.
