Staff were very helpful in making a spare key for my SUV. Key was very affordable, and easy process. Made then & there.

Very bad experience for the first time going there... Dealt with Rod Lindballe . I needed help getting a replacement key what a nightmare instead of him helping me he made my anxiety go higher and when I asked him if the key doesn't work can I get my money back and him telling me to call him so I figure of course that meant call him and I would go back in ti get money back. SO fast forward and my boyfriend tried the key and it didn't work so I call Rod the first day and he has already left so I call back the next day and I talk to him and he just made me feel like I was stupid, anyway I told him about the key he cut (no chip and it couldn't be programmed), to which his attitude changed from being nice to not very nice when I mentioned my money back so that I could go elsewhere...needless to say i felt worse after calling and just wanted to cry...Rod you need to do better and think about this without us customers you wouldn't have a job...I am soooooo not impressed with service and Rod should make it right and take accountability for his screw up (doubt it will happen though because not to many people now adays fix their mistakes!!! read more

I only give is a one rating because zero wasn't an option! My friend and I were in at about 4:35 to test drive a vehicle. I asked what time they closed, she informed me that it was 5pm but no big deal we can stay. So great start...right! We test drive the car, and fell in love with it. So we go back to deal with Carlee. Upon further discussion she could not meet our price. At this time it was 5:07 we walked out the door and started our car, shut car off and walked right back in to buy the car... YUP BUY it, at her price. 5:08pm we were informed that the computers were shut down, she would get that all ready for us first thing. Then I get the message from my friend that they SOLD the car... SO because the computers were shut down, WE were unable to purchase the car that night.... AND somehow they sell it first thing in the morning. I have NEVER had such poor service in my life. What happen to salesmen working for the customers???? Just because they have the upper hand RIGHT NOW in this economy, doesn't mean customer service goes out the window. Had a very unsettling experience here when I was shopping for a newer vehicle. The salesman I had was pleasant and attentive but he was unable to discuss any deal on the vehicle I had just test driven. Had to wait for the gen Manager. I indicated that I would consider a trade in for my own vehicle. Bad move. It took over 40 min to actually get a quote for my trade in and the amount quoted was an insult. I turned it down and requested their best price on the vehicle I was interested in. The price given was the same as the "ad" that got me in there in the first place. When asked what I wanted to pay, I indicated $3,000 under the list price. The General Manager said there was no way he could sell it for that, grabbed the paperwork, and walked away. No counter offer, nothing. I went to Edmonton to another dealership and negotiated a great price on a vehicle with people who actually acted like they wanted to deal with me. I want to point out that the vehicle at McLennan had been on "Car Gurus" for 153 days. I would have thought this dealership would have at least tried to deal with me. My car was having problems starting so I had a good friend of mine (who is a certified mechanic) look at it and he said there was an aftermarket GPS device that is hindering my vehicle from starting, since it is a brand new Chevy I brought it to McClellan Wheaton Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. Because I thought my warranty would cover it (but didn't) anyways I told the lady that I dropped my keys off with exactly what my friend had told me it was and that I just need it removed, so I got a call 2 hours later saying they had a diagnosis and that it is going to cost me $300 to remove the GPS and it took them 2 hours ($190 worth of shop time) to find the GPS so all together it was going to cost me $500. ( This GPS thing has about 5 wires and is the size of an Iphone) So being that i don't know that much about vehicles I called my dad before I gave them the go ahead and he obviously said not to go through them because it was an outrageous amount to charge. so I went and picked up my car and paid the $190 for "diagnostic" took it to the gentleman at Audio Video and he had the GPS found and removed within 10 min. McClellan Wheaton is Just another example of some Mechanic taking advantage of someone who doesn't know. What a crooked way to run a business! you can bet that My father and I will never be taking our business back there again!! read more

Service is great! I have had 0 issues with my 2008 Malibu LTZ that they sold me and am already over 70,000km. They even have free popcorn in their show room which is great when looking for a car with your kids. read more
