Remember this is someone who lives in CA using a very small line of banks in northeast Texas, Californians earn the reputation they have. Someone who is somehow able to be "victimized" 3 times by debit card theft? Someone who uses a small bank 3 states away yet is outraged that they have problems? Sounds like a person that couldn't find their ass with both hands, I heard from a wise man that keeping your card in a wallet or purse can work wonders. That said I go to 3 different locations, at every location the employees were friendly and helpful every time I have gone there over the last few years. Absolutely no complaints there. Sadly the bank is -plagued might be a strong word- lets say stricken with IT issues that arise every 3 months or so, they also have the occasional problem at certain local businesses with the card not always working. It is sporadic and has occurred with multiple cards, but thankfully that too also happens only every few months. If you live in the Paris, TX area and don't travel very far, I think this could be a good bank for you. Otherwise I would suggest choosing to do your banking elsewhere.

They illegally went to my Grandma's House and had her sign paperwork she did not understand without anybody else in our families permission. She is 89. This bank locked her account up and now we can't pay her rent or bills. They stopped her rent check and cards from working so the last two months we had to figure out other ways to take care of my Grandma causing lots of major problems. They also won't show us what she signed unless we get a lawyer involved. Plus it's old school so you can't get anybody on the phone past 5pm M-F or make deposits out of that time frame. They are not open at all on weekends. You literally can't get people on the phone to give you answers. Other major banks you can speak to someone 24 hours per day. Do not trust them. Go to a bigger and more legit bank that treats customer properly and is more honest.

After banking here for over ten years with not one overdraft or problem, we suddenly started having problems with my bank card and the fraud protection we did not request nor approve but rather was forced on us. My card kept closing due to fraud, banks excuse was I live to far from the bank. Odd because my wifes card never had one problem. I think we can all see through that. We complained and some...employee (best I could do) was literally crying in the office of the VP of Marketing, dont see how marketing has ANYTHING to do with accounts, but ok. Our accounts get closed, not by us. I filed for the change of direct deposit with the Veterans Administration and Social Security, but they need 30-45 days to process. They payments went to this bank and were returned. Now I have to wait for the updates, then request the deposits be made after I receive notification the updates have been made. Additional week to the process. I wanted to thank this bank for causing the financial crisis of scrambling to deal with utilities, rent, and figuring out how we will buy food until this gets straight. With all the banking crisis happening, throwing away an account of that age and standing, truly arrogant. I draw my deposits being 100% totally and permanently disabled veteran, so I guess I should say you are welcome for my service, thank you for yours.

He was telling the lady what he was told and he was mad but he didn't go out of line the lady then decided to hang up on him and instead of talking to him I understand if she didn't want to talk to him and could have sent his call else where but she decided to hang up and he has tried to call back to figure things but she keeps hang up the phone when she answers it if I could give them zero stars I would because that is disrespectful to their customers. They could really trust their customers with respect I will not be going to this bank anymore after what my fiancé just went through I rather move my bank account else where then deal with rude people here.

Once I get this straightened out I will close my savings and checking I am not talking about a large amount of money $33k all together But it's the principle.
