The Principal, VP and staff are available and willing to help with any concerns. Students get individual attention and lots of resources both at school and online. This school has a more "hands-on" type learning style compared to public school. Plus, there are so much more opportunities for extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports and field trips. The school really works hard to accommodate parents' schedules. Probably the thing I love most about Bear Springs is student behavior. There is zero-tolerance for bullying and bad behavior. The Principal and VP are very helpful in dealing with any situations. I have noticed that the student atmosphere at Bear Springs is much more accepting and supportive than I've seen at other schools. And the most important part ... my kids love it! They get up happy each morning, ready to go to school.

I was literally about to fall unconscious, because I couldn't breathe (I was literally the only person who had to run). After that she just ignored me. And the lady in the front office I think her name is Sharon, she was trying to take the subs side even tho I could have passed out, I really wonder what that would have done to them. She was also pretty rude to one of my friends when we went back to school after covid, and when we had to wear masks, because his masks fell below his nose and he didn't realized it right away. He had to stand outside for the rest of class, I'm only saying this because the kid right next to him didn't even have his mask on and she just asked him to put it on. (same sub btw)

They're truly professional and wonderful folks. I really like the business style of these offices, they're comfortable and clean. However, I can't give Lake Elsinore Unified a five-star rating as the schools need more resources. Teachers are begging for computers and resources for the kiddos. Let's give it to them please! I think our school community will thrive if we pay more attention to the needs of our students. Also, I don't think this district is very inclusive, it's tailored towards only one of group of people. This school is very unorganized! The parking at this school is horrible and a nightmare, they did…read moreconstruction at this school all summer long but it does't look like it has fixed the parking lot problems, only time will tell. All year last year I actually thought the VP was the Principal because he is the only person I saw all the time doing the duties of the Principal, having contact with the kids and parents. Don't even get me started on the lady in the front office. I just don't understand why people are so unhappy working when there are so many people unemployed looking for work. Many people would love to have her job and would enjoy coming to work everyday, why can't they find someone like this. All the other schools I've been too, the people working there are very happy and helpful, they are excited to have a job and get out early and have every Holiday and Fur-low day off. A major grip I have is that it seems that there is a lot of favoritism going on with the kids and their performing arts. For example when they do shows on/off campus, they have some kids singing a set of songs or one song by themselves when NO other kids where given an equal opportunity to audition for that spot. The teachers that are running the performances are putting their kids, or kids they know or like in the show with out giving every child at that school the opportunity to try out for it, it is not fair to the other kids; every one should have a chance to try out for these opportunities as well, and the best kid should get the chance? After all, I thought this was a performing arts type school, all these kids should have equal opportunities, regardless of who their parents are or who they know at the school.

Teachers are great and my children feel supported. They offer many different programs such as clubs, GATE programs, sports and after school support! What works at Sycamore is their teachers and administration. In my position, positive working relationships are essential in the continuity of a young person's education.
