It smelled as though instead of using cleaning materials they just spray Lysol over everything to sanitize. 3 Star because of the price, location and staff. 0 stars for the smell in lobby and rooms.

There's no staff on premises until after 2:30. Check in and out are electronic. They are renovating downtown so parking is limited when workmen are there but we found parking close by over the three days we were here. We requested room tidy up one time and it wasn't done. I'd suggest actually talking to Michelle or onsite staff about any issues. Room was clean and modern. Comfy bed and towels. Yes, walls seem thin. We didn't have any issues. Modern hotel close to everything. Bar downstairs. Just wonky.

They have a little express market store to purchase snacks down in the lobby which is extremely convenient, and the staff is very kind. We arrived at 1:00 and tried to get early check in but they said the rooms weren't ready. We would have loved that to be an option, but that wouldn't keep us from coming back. The couch was stained with some sooty deposit and they didn't take care of it, but otherwise I have no complaints. Parking was free and plentiful. There was a pool I didn't use, and a gym that I did. Service was cordial and the breakfasts were the usual ones offered at Holiday Inn's worldwide. Confession - I have started to enjoy (crave?!) their biscuits and gravy. Will stay here again when I'm back in town.

I booked it online and was set. The morning of my stay I received a text from Bonnie welcoming me and asking about my arrival time. She was so very gracious. She made sure my room was clean and that the air was turned on prior to my arrival. My room was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I would definitely return again if I'm ever in the area.
