Took my new f150 there because it was missing. Mechanic found a wire chewed off a coil. He halfway wrapped it with black tape that came off in a week. I fixed it correctly. A friend of mine had her oil changed there. I checked her oil and found the top of the air box was off. It had been off for almost a year. The motor was covered with dust. She took it back for another oil change and didn't even get a sorry or nothin. Charged her full price again. read more

I scheduled an oil change and drove 3 hours to go to this dealership because they are where I purchased my first car from. I went by and looked into getting another new car today. After a few hours we were unable to get a new car, so I was like can I go on and get my oil changed and recall fixed. The salesman went to service and came back and told me my appointment was at 2:45, but they would be able to get to it at 1 when they got back from lunch. I waited around and when I went in at 1 to get my car serviced I was told that they would not start on my car until my appointment time. At this point I have been waiting around for hours and I was done. I ended up leaving with NO NEW CAR, NO OIL CHAGE, AND NO RECALL FIX. I basically waited all day and got nothing done. Nonetheless I will more likely be looking for a new dealership to go to you for any future needs. read more

Beware of Service department took my truck in to have analysis done on Transmission. They told me it needed a new transmission at a cost of 5500 dollars. I felt that was a wrong diagnosis since it had worked when I parked for the night just wouldn't engage in gear next Morning but would switch into limp home mode with wrench indicator on dash display. They charged for transmission analysis but couldn't provide failure codes. Knowing diagnosis was wrong took to AAMCO they told me the issue wasn't transmission but an electrical issue with wiring and transmission controller. After trouble shooting the loss of power to transmission controller they found wiring harness had worn wires and shorted power. After replacing fuses running diagnostics again with no trouble codes showing on transmission. Truck works great my cost for fix was $385.00. They really need better trained mechanics. So I went from a supposed trouble costing $5500 dollars to one actually costing $385.00 the truck only had 104,000 miles on it. I see on their Facebook page they need certified mechanics they need more than that. I wasted 100 dollars for bad analysis from lakeside ford. read more
