We ungraded a seat on one bike, $30-something seat. Bill is $206.46, to make sure everything is tightened properly. Paid the bill. When the bikes are to be picked up two hours later one of the tires is all of a sudden blown. Inflated it the night before, today it is blown. It wasn't blown two hours ago, but I guess the warehouse is too big to have noticed that. Insulted us in the quality of bikes that we bought, said that they would have given us better service if we bought bikes from them. Right out of their mouths, not mine. My experience is bad customer service. They had a fish on the line with the bill for "set up" and figured they would take it one step further. I didn't ask for new greasing and chains or anything other than to make sure they were both ready for the road. All of the service they provided couldn't have taken more than an hour on bikes that were already put together, even if not perfectly. That's a pretty high dollar per hour charge, which I said fine. We have two bikes to ride. The tire blowing out is fishy at best. Quote a reasonable price instead of assuming a customer wants you to do a complete put together job when the bikes are already put together. Zero concern for the customer or empathy. You should have taken care of the tire, minimum. Thanks for the insults as well.

It has its drawbacks but it's fairly safe and not as expensive as some - and it has some really surprisingly amazing food options... for example the wonderful Cha Boba which is the best boba shop anywhere, and Spring Roll Express, which makes the best Banh Mi in the world. And... They have their own KFT for lemon black tea down here. So really it's a part of Gulf Coast Texas that we come to all the time - because of what's here. Some great shopping as well. Overall I have nothing but great things to say about this area. I haven't had any trouble with the police yet and traffic is generally okay although when they're doing construction on the highway it gets really annoying.

Clear Lake is a great town just not at all bicycle friendly.

Bought 2 brand new Treks from here very recently which was the first time buying a new bike in many…read moreyears. Barely ridden the derailed bound and broke. Bike showed a scar that it was on the ground but this had nothing to do with it since it was at a different time. Most probable cause with less than 4 miles on the bike was the limit screw was not set correctly when I bought it and the result was as expected from that. derailleur sucked up into my spokes causing paint damage and the derailleur to snap off. Dropped the bike off and was happy I had bought it from a bike shop and not Walmart for service. Service was great, they took the bike and had it fixed the next day. Bad part is they took no responsibility for what happened and charged me 60 bucks to replace a 25 dollar part. I unfortunately regret buying my bikes there and they lost me as a customer for life. I need two more bikes for my kids but they will be purchased out of town somewhere else whom hopefully will stand by their product and more importantly their work.

Jason B answered and was incredibly accommodating! First he told me that he would put "hands on" the shoes to ensure they were in the store. He said that I would have to pay for shipping since the shoes were so heavily discounted, $85.00 off! I felt that was a extremely fair request. He searched for the cheapest shipping option AND cut a shipping box to the smallest size and still allow the factory box to fit, further reducing the shipping cost. He didn't have to do that, I was paying the shipping anyway. The shoes are brand new in the box and came exactly as described. Jason was keeping me updated with the shipping progress which took only 3 business days, from MN to NJ! I looked at some of the reviews, the most recent one that I see is from 2022 and my experience was nothing like that. If I could change one thing, it would be for Bicycle Sports to move closer! New Jersey would be nice, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. :) Unfortunately, I feel that people are more inclined to share a bad experience more than a positive one. I felt that Jason and the Bicycle Sports deserved a few minutes of my time for outstanding customer service. I was hesitant after reading some of those old reviews, but based on my experience, I will not hesitate to purchase again. Bicycle Sports is a Brick and mortar store and not a big chain retailer further reenforces my decision. Nothing against them, but my preference are the Brick and Mortar shops! There is a rack out front to park your bike, which is nice. There seemed to be a large variety of accessories, clothing, and bikes in store. Inside i was greeted by a friendly face right away, who dropped what he was doing to help me out. I was wanting theft protection for my tires, and thanks to his help I was convinced to purchase a long cable to tether my tires, which can also be used to tie both my husband's and my bike together if needed. The price was very reasonable for the product. I will definitely be going back to bicycle sports in the future, and I reccomend it to anyone else who bikes.
