Our last property manager was the worst of the lot. She would not reply to board members emails. She would never answer calls. Calls transferred to her desk would always go to voicemails. I've caught her lie straight up in board meetings when confronted about it. She would say that the call went to a different lady with the same name. She would not even acknowledge open tickets on their vantaca board portal from residents, let alone work on them. Some she would just close them without any work done. She would send emails about other communities to our communities accidentally. People from different communities were sent mails to us. God knows how much PII data she has leaked till now. Her manager who would be cc'ed on the emails, equally non-responsive and I guess couldn't care less. I get it that ours is a smaller community and maybe we are not a higher priority for them. Then be upfront and let us know that we are not interested in taking care of smaller communities. Don't just sit there collecting paychecks and not do any work. The view of NY are very nice as well (although our view was only partial). The hallways are very dated, the garage door was broken fof about half the time we were staying there, and the front desk personnel were not well-trained or professional. They nickel and dime you on small things including attempting to charge us $10 for a light bulb that required replacement due to a leak from an apartment above us that spewed water into our apartment. The grounds are very small. There was a break-in while I was there. They have virtually no cameras around the grounds and failed to properly respond when the community submitted a petition requesting improved safety. They also attempted to charge us almost 10% of our security deposit after our departure with an inadequate description of the issue. This may have been a nice place to live about 20 years ago, but there are many newer, safer, and better run places in neighboring towns with much improved amenities and equal or lower rent.

Let me start off by telling you how incompetent and rude these office staffs are. They're never in the office 90% of the time and when they're in, they don't take your requests seriously. Now we have a newborn infant kn the house and every time the temperature drops, the heat doesn't work. The internal temperature has fallen below state mandate and the staff doesn't care at all. We are using the portable heater and I'm stuck inside the room with her the entire day. I have called the office and complained and my husband had gone in person multiple times and it still hasn't been resolved. In addition, they shut off water all the time in the afternoon. We noticed that when we started to work from home. I'm extremely disgusted by this place and would not recommend this apartment to rent from. Save yourself your sanity and stay away from this place. The ladies working there Jessica and Priscilla are absolutely a waste of time and money. I don't understand why they're still there.

They stated that dog bites are not their responsibility and that they cannot talk to the dog owner of the dog bites. My 11 year old was forced to receive 6 shots for absolutely no reason because the management team won't give me the dog owner's info. They told me to call the police and the police won't even help. The dog owner later texted me that I couldn't get the vaccine record on time because I chose to call the police instead of asking her first. RIDICULOUS!!!! I suffered a panic attack and sent to the ER for their continuous lies. When I stopped paying rent after multiple attempts to get an apology from them and filing a complaint to the HUD for the unfair treatment, they filed for an eviction after 5 days of the complaint. They filed an eviction when I was "late" for 2 weeks of rent. Mostly 3+ months of late rent. It was a retaliation. They did not file an eviction for any other tenants for just 2 weeks of late rent. I pulled out all their eviction records. They are currently under HUD investigation for discrimination and retaliation. They retaliated against us utill the day we moved out. I am suffering from PTSD, depression, and anxiety attacks due to their cruel treatments towards our family. They called the police on me multiple times and lied to the police. I am 5'1" Korean lady. I was not a threat to them at all. I will walk into the office and they would call the police. I have videos of their concierges yelling at me because I was on their blacklist. Check back later and mostly likely my review will be gone because they will delete it. They delete honest reviews and write fake reviews. I wrote reviews before and they keep deleting them. I waited over a year to write again.
