Do not use this business unless you need a simple service like an oil change or minor maintenance…read more I was not familiar with auto shops in this area as a newer resident, and a neighbor recommended them. I was initially impressed with the free towing of my pickup when my starter went out. It was repaired with no problem. However, I took it back to Greer when I had some other issues with my truck due to overheating. I was told I needed a new intake manifold, so I was quoted $1500. Then I received a call that it was going to cost more, around $600, due to labor hours, because they ran into issues. So long story short, the truck was not completely repaired correctly, and I had to keep putting antifreeze in it as there was a leak somewhere. So, someone must not have known how to work on a Ford because now I have a blown head gasket, and the vehicle is dead. Since Greer's mechanic had the engine completely torn down to fix an issue, everything should have been checked. In my opinion, they threw it back together when they "ran into issues" and did not know how to fix a Ford. All someone had to do was let me know what the problem was, or if it was more than they could handle.

Got a response of "we started looking at it, but stopped because other things came up". Another 7 business days go by, SILENCE. I stop by the shop and they still hadn't even touched it. One of the techs told me "we're pulling it in and out every night because it's a nicer truck" if you're doing that why wouldn't you just diagnose it? Finally on March 10th after 14 business days of hearing absolutely nothing from this joke of a shop I towed my truck to a new shop and got it looked as the next day. What a great experience: I finally found a place I can trust that cares about perfection in the…read morework done to my vehicle (I actually got to watch them work and communicate with each other during tasks and I was impressed), that cares about true customer satisfaction and relationship that can lead to lifelong collaborations that make the entire journey of truck modification and "accessorizing" more enjoyable, and that does its best for fair prices... As a fabricator/welder/engineer, I usually do all work myself; Unfortunately, I got hurt before this installation, which, oddly, turned out to be fortunate because, all of the meticulous attention to detail and perfection I always give, I found that and more in the staff at Diversified Off-Road - Upon my first communications with Seth, I could tell this place puts their customer's satisfaction first. Seth and I laid out a plan for the parts I had already ordered, my wife and I dropped off our vehicle and parts the same week to Seth and Kim (Kim is great also), and we got to observe some of the work being done. My wife got to be the first of us to drive the truck, and she had a smile on her face the entire way from Ohio back into Michigan: We are extremely pleased with our experience and the quality of work done - I was just under the truck all day yesterday doing rust prevention with my POR-15 products; I was looking at their work close-up, and, perfect, I couldn't be happier... Installing lifts and all of the other modifications are challenging and the parts cost quite a bit. Diversified Truck-Auto & Off-Road IS the best balance. As a business, I look at the years they have been providing quality work, and we need them to survive and thrive as they provide a livelihood for their staff, and they help to build our community; so when they are looking at the balance of work, they are doing their best on pricing, timing, and complete satisfaction (I can see that in the future plans we are discussing for Retrax Eq and a Bed-Slide, among other work). I had been inquiring with numerous other shops in the area and was planning to go to Integrity in Oklahoma believe it or not, until I found this shop so much closer to home. Diversified satisfied every single detail and desire I had for my installation.
