David guided me through every step with patience, kindness, and genuine empathy. He was always responsive, and available to answer questions or help with anything that came up along the way. I also felt the prices were reasonable. I am grateful to David and Wyman for helping me honor my loved one with compassion and care. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, including and especially when coordinating arrangements from out of town.

My dad was so comforted by the way they cared for her that he told us he wanted to be cremated there as well when his time came. When we recently lost him, we handled everything over the phone, and even from a distance the staff's kindness came through clearly. They were patient, understanding, and incredibly respectful throughout the entire process. Every conversation felt personal, never rushed, and they made sure we understood each step. Even without walking through their doors, we felt supported and cared for. What meant the most was how consistent their compassion was -- years apart, for both of my parents. They treated our family with genuine warmth and professionalism, and it brought real comfort during two of the hardest moments of our lives. I'm deeply grateful for the care they provided, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a funeral home that truly understands how to support families with dignity and kindness.

I have worked in Sales and trust me, the previous funeral homes we visited prior to Red Mountain Funeral Home either had a sales pitch or just did not feel right for us. McClain was very empathetic in this time of need. He listened to us and gave us the options based on what we discussed. Never did he upsell anything. He heard exactly what we wanted and matched up the service they could offer us. In our particular situation we had to have an intimate family viewing prior to the cremation process. It was amazing how they made my sister look as she was napping while we made our last goodbye! I truly appreciate RMFH for giving us the best farewell to baby sis I could have had! RIP Barbie Gonzalez, I LOVE YOU!!! You will never be forgotten and you'll always be part of the family's story!!! When we are born, we are born into a race called life. In life we never have a set starting point and our finish line is always different from person to person. At a very early age we always pit ourselves with others we respect or we want to be like or a legend who is no longer in the race. We never are told the rules of the race. While being green in this race we sometimes are taken advantage of and learn right away or make the same mistake a few times before we learn. While others may have more shelter and are not allowed to learn the rules of life until much later down the road. Throughout this race we see others who are struggling. Some of us are out here to help from the get while others are more tentative to help or arrogant and refuse to help. These are all part of our race and learn the playbook as we go. Throughout this marathon we learn from the miles we put in and make the tweaks to become smarter/efficient! Some are quicker than others at becoming smarter/efficient and some learn at a later stage of the race. This race is hard and we somehow push through to continue racking up our miles. Maybe some quit the race and are not seen again. As we encounter the entire spectrum of feeling we advance on this race, some of us are lucky to either find the "family" we want to surround ourselves with or even luckier yet have the family that we want to be around! Once we have our family and fellow racers in our pack, we race until we can no longer race! Some of us will know as we approach the finish line while others are snatched away from the race without notice. In your personal race, I beg you to acknowledge what and who you care for and let them know! This sometimes beautiful cruel race absorbs us without our knowledge and we do not give praise soon enough!

My mother had prepaid for a policy in California to cremate her remains. McClain and Bridget were very helpful with this issue and it basically covered everything. We would reach out to them again.

Not only are you mourning the loss and grieving, but then you've got the added stress and concern with making sure all of the logistics are taken care of. Our family is incredibly grateful for Frank taking that burden off of our shoulders and allowing us to be with family, celebrate our loved one, while he guided us comfortably through the process of planning a funeral and burial. Frank is a class act, and in hindsight, the funeral service and burial were beautiful and seamless--and I can't help but think he played a huge role in that. I mention price only because often times these things are unexpected, so for what it's worth, the pricing was significantly less than the handful of others we were advised to take a look at. From the moment we met with Frank, however, price was really out the window for us as it became very clear that he was committed to not only providing our loved one with a service and burial to be proud of, but to making sure that the family was taken care of and we were able to say goodbye in a fashion fitting of a last goodbye. We have a big family. HUGE. And even though I know Frank isn't chomping at the bit to receive phone calls--we will absolutely be encouraging folks to give him a call when the time arises. I cannot speak highly enough for what he did for our family.

He walked me thru every inch of the way, making sure I had every question answered right away. We have actually used this mortuary in the past and had a much better experience when working with a different funeral director. Unfortunately, this time was completely different, and the experience we had with Monica was extremely upsetting. Monica lacked empathy and did not take the time to guide us through the process or explain our options. We specifically requested a viewing for my mother-in-law, and later were told she was not viewable. This was devastating, especially because we were then told it was due to us not requesting embalming, something that was never clearly explained to us. As a grieving family, we didn't even know what questions we were supposed to ask, and we relied on the funeral director to walk us through those decisions. Communication was also very difficult. Monica was rude on the phone and did not show understanding or compassion. When we expressed concerns or asked about alternative options, nothing was offered and there was no apology. When we ultimately decided to switch to another mortuary, the only response we received was that we would still have to pay. The lack of care, guidance, and empathy added unnecessary stress and sadness to an already painful time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Tempe Mortuary to families looking for compassionate and supportive care.

After a bunch of searching and checking reviews and prices, we figured "Why not go with the family-owned place downtown?" This turned out to be a fantastic decision. Not only was everyone extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, but I've been to enough funerals in my time to know how bad many morticians are at facial shaping and makeup. When we had my grandfather's viewing, I was extremely hesitant to actually look at his face... but when I did, I couldn't have been happier. Grandpa just looked exactly like grandpa, taking an oddly formal nap. His face was perfectly set, they'd expertly done a few nips and tucks to take him back to how we knew him, and the makeup was so natural you'd never have known he was dead or wearing makeup. (Other than the whole "lying motionless in a casket in a funeral home" thing, I mean.) The whole family was seriously impressed, and it was great to have our last memories reflect the man we knew and loved. Kudos to the Bueler team on making a really crappy time just a little bit better.
