Absolutely my favourite Rabba. They have their own bakery (always having fresh croissants/muffins…read moreetc) in the morning as well as subway and a brand new Tim Hortons. However as my go to Rabba and my experience over the years there were great employees who were always very social and provided great customer service and knowledgeable about their tobacco/vape products. I don't see many anymore of my favourites and I feel like customer service has dropped. Darcy is still there and one of my favourites who had always been charismatic and talkative and helped me find things in their store. Brad was a totally amazing dude. Besides his knowledge of helping me find my shopping products; he really helped me quit smoking and switch over to vaping and honestly by this point I'm glad to say I've gotten over my addiction. Haven't seen him in a while but did personally want to tell him how great of a worker he is and that he was very knowledgeable in vape products and literally benefitted me in my everyday nicotine addiction Abdullah who I'm not sure if he runs the store is really nice to customers and very polite. He was very understanding more than a few times when I was short on money in purchasing groceries and honestly he has such a kind heart. I can't recall the bakery department employees but all are so friendly and nice to me when I want to buy something in their department. Also! That sweet lady who works at the Sushi Shop. She's such a sweet lady and very generous in letting me sample different types of sushi's (pre covid times) and even sometimes applies a 30% discount. And that's just a great plus cuz I love sushi :) PLEASE READ BELOW I love this place because of all these reasons but these new employees and rarely when I shop/visit overnight. They're not so friendly and don't provide much customer service. Those 3 Rabba employees kept me coming back and that the lady at the Sushi Department :) I don't want to lower the review score but right now honestly I'd rate it a 3.5/5. I don't see Darcy, Brad nor the sushi girl much, but Abdullah is the one always satisfying my experience. These new workers, with no disrespect, should really work on customer service because essentially ones experience and having recurring shoppers/customers is essential

This man has no business in customer service and should be ashamed of himself for treating a child that way. This store should be boycotted by anyone who cares about racial justice.

But this is what convenience stores are! The family that run this store are sincerely friendly and helpful. They remain open regardless of weather, giving options when nothing else is open nearby. Located at the foot of Windermere, it's a small store that has people in and out frequent from open to close. They sell what you would expect; pop, milk, eggs, energy drinks, candy, lotto tickets and cigarettes. They also have a decent selection of grocery items down a couple of aisles. Be warned that prices, as it's a very small convenience store, run a bit high. You might want to double check the best before on anything like bread as well. General house hold items like tools are available too. Service is generally friendly, and you'll be greeted upon entering with a hello and a smile. The place is relatively clean, but you'll notice the age of some products, especially the cheap candy toward the front, may be older than the store itself. None the less, aside from the gas station down Queensway, this is the only place in reasonable walking distance to pick up last minute cooking supplies, or a can of coke after a hot walk. We're lucky they're around, but the area really needs more shops to go with all the condos sprouting up.

Apparently the people at TJ's, which seems to offer just about every variety store side business you can think of, is hoping you do. You and a lot of other people. They didn't use to be so diversified back when I would come here for Garbage Pail Kids stickers and Big Chew gum. Now, I just come in to buy a newspaper. The other day the lady at the counter was so distracted with the key copying, she almost sold it to me for a quarter less than the regular price. But before I could luck out, she said, "Wait--did I say two-fifty? It's two-seventy-five." Maybe next time...

This convenience store is a true oddity. First of all, it's in an old movie theatre which hasn't…read moreeven been renovated much; you can see where the screen is at the back of the store, and the crumbling marquee is still out front. It doesn't even really have a front sign, although I give them cleverness points for putting the usual variety storefront ads for Dentyne in the frames that once housed movie posters. Inside, the High Park Mini Mart is pretty standard, if also a little low on the cleanliness and brightness scale, even for a variety store. It's a bit bigger than average, though, and they have a reasonable selection of movies for rent as well.

They talked with the owner directly for some snacks, and everything seemed okay until 5 mins later the owner starts harassing my friend about checking there phone. 5 minutes after they thought everything was good. I quote "Better luck next time, or next week idc" Who says that!?!? Like have some respect and privacy my dude. Anyway snacks and variety are good. Owner is some short bald guy with a temper. I recommend having your phone glued to your hand if your ordering. There's another store called 6ix convienance that have just the same good snacks but with a friendlier outake on customer client relationships.

Otherwise, there's not that much that's remarkable about it: good place to pick up a newspaper, snack, cigarettes, etc. One thing that does set it apart from its Bloor West convenience store competition, however, is the rack or two of cheap clothes and accessories that they roll out onto the street. If you're walking around Jane station, and are in the market for a toque that says SECURITY on it, then this is your place.
