Just got my car repaired by these guys today and couldn't have asked for a smoother experience…read more Made an appointment 2 days earlier (as is necessary here), dropped off my car at my time this morning, they called me an hour and a half later explaining what needed to be fixed. My car gave them 4 codes with errors and this is where these guys separate themselves from most shops, Lou just told me what the most important problem was and that there was a good chance the other things would clear up after that repair. Almost every mechanic I've been to in Toronto would have jumped at the chance to convince me to get those things checked out thoroughly and then repaired. It's refreshing to feel like your mechanic is actually being honest with you. I gave Lou the go ahead to do the repair at what was a totally reasonable price and he called me just a couple hours later telling me it was ready to go. Even better is that he just gave me the keys to one of their cars so I could drive to work and to come back to get my car later. I know they aren't the only place that does that but all those things combined made it a great experience. Will absolutely be coming back even though I live in downtown Toronto. I can drop my car off in the morning, drive to work with one of their cars and be driving my car home after work. Keep it up Lou!

Mediocre service; and a waste of $$$ Today, June…read more4,2024, again I returned to "fix" the same issue with the AC (charging me $324 on top of what they already charged for the work that was never done right and after repeated "repairs" - initially they installed a new compressor and refrigerant (which now I am doubting that it was really necessary) but the AC was still not functioning properly...blowing hot air. The first time and second time I reported the problem, I was told the technicians didn't put the right ratio of refrigerant and oil mixture; then the same thing happened again and again... the last time I returned I was told that I have to wait until summer when it's hot outside so they can "fix" the problem!? That seemed strange but I did what they said and today (June 4th a hot Summer day at 95 degrees weather forecast, I have returned. They called 3 hours after I dropped off the car at their shop to inform me that they "discovered a leak" and needed o-rings at a cost of $324 to repair. It's apparent that they never did a competent job when they replaced the compressor the first time. The first time I went there was June 2023 and today is June 2024. The AC was not functioning properly since this issue happened (since it was not needed in the cooler weather days, I didn't have an urgent need for it and was never turned on. But now it is summer and Texas summers are brutal and air conditioning is not a luxury but vital necessity.) Mediocre service AC: returned 5-6 times already (Uber+stay)ea time

I like how close it is to other services as well. Majority of services are offered there, and there are additional services in the same plaza. Though they specialize in Saab cars, they can and will work on near any make/model. A+, highly recommended.

You can see from my first image that I paid $2000 for a series of services that he recommended. I recently brought my car back because I noticed something was dripping underneath the car. He said it may be the transmission and that he would charge $120 to assess it (see second image). His assessment was that he may need to reseal it and the cost is $2175 or if he needs to rebuild it then it will cost $3395! We felt something was not right so we took it a dealership and their mechanic said that we only needed an $8 cap to fix the issues; which it did. We went back to this shop and asked him for our assessment money and he said that he hadn't actually assessed it and that he had used another transmission shop and once he gets the money back from that shop he would refund us. We did not give him our consent to use another company. We have spent so much money with him, we feel swindled, and will no longer be using his services.
