She makes the best cheese plates in the afternoons for happy hour and the BEST omelettes for breakfast. By the way, breakfast and happy hour is included with your stay. Everything is made to order and the spreads are always incredible. One of the best perks about the Inn! It's romantic and relaxing all rolled into one vacation. The customer service from each lady at the Inn is outstanding. They truly care about your vacation and constantly check in to make sure you're more than happy with your stay. Heather even made hot tea for my husband one day and brought it out to him by the pool. So kind. Our air conditioner had an issue one night and we were promptly given a key to another room where we could sleep for the night. Heather had maintenance out the next morning and the issue was taken care of quickly. We have stayed in the Flamingo room and the Serenity room all times we've been here. These are the only two rooms located in the spa building and the heated mineral pool is right outside their doors. We love The White Orchid Inn and Spa and already look forward to the day when we return. The ladies really made our trip special this time around and we are grateful for that. It's right on the water and the sunsets are stunning. There is a hot tub on the deck and a tiki hut with a pool table, darts, TV and nice lounging area. We had a couples massage in the evening under the stars and it was incredible. Highly recommend going here to get away from the daily routine and truly relax. The owners are very friendly, professional and super prompt in responding to any questions. Will definitely be returning!!!

It's located in the Heart of the historic district in Palatka, Fl. We got very lucky to be able to reserved 2 rooms for this past weekend a year ago for a wedding that we attended. We got there Friday night at around 8:00 pm and Mr. Tate was such a gentleman to assist us and guide us to our nice cozy rooms. The rooms where clean and very comfortable. We were 2 couples, Mr. Tate was very kind and made us feel at home not like customers but family guests. In the morning his daughter Abby served us an amazing breakfast She as well was very attentive and kind. We were there for 2 nights and on the second day before checking out we again had a great breakfast and after that Mr. Tate, gave us a tour of this magic place, so much history on this magnificent landmark. This is the first time that we stayed in a Bed and breakfast Inn. And truly recommend this place to everyone. Once I sent over the email confirmation, the room was magically available. On Friday an hour before check in I received a text that our confirmed room was no longer available. Domalee at the front desk was the only contact we had and she could not have cared less. We checked in to our double queen, smoking room, on the parking lot and the bedding was stained, there was no parking due to boats parked in front spots, and 4 unseemly men working on a vehicle they obviously lived in. This is and drug motel across the street was now our view. We left after 2 hours. The dock looks like it going to collapse, there is an abandoned restaurant on site, totally nasty property that looks and smells nothing like the photos. Just neglected and sad and for $150 a night they should be ashamed ripping people off!

Second time we stayed here we did the Wisteria room, a pretty small room with no windows on the third floor, which wasn't as nice as the larger second floor rooms, so next time we'll know what to pick. Pets allowed only if you book the carriage house (just outside the main manor house) Overall, a nice place, we liked it. Great place if you love history.

They serve wine in the afternoon and freshly baked cookies are available along with a Keurig coffee pot and hot water for tea. However, the temperature stays at 70 degrees, which was a little too cold for us. They have a lovely porch area with rocking chairs. We were disappointed in the breakfast which was a fruit cup with yogurt (tasty) 2 waffles with a small round sausage. We were expecting eggs and more of a gourmet breakfast due to the amount of money, we had paid for the room. The historic district of Micanopy used have lots of antique stores but now it is mainly gifty stores.
