As I had other photoshoots but as I would later come to find out none like this . Not only am I a beginner I am a plus size model that comes with its challenges one of the biggest being my insecurities and self esteem issues . But I would soon come to find out that this wasn't just anytype of photoshoot and just some photographer trying to pass time taking photos as a hobby to build a portfolio. He was invested , professional, and most importantly for me compassionate. The compassion was a big piece for me because of the insecurities and self-esteem issues about my body but that quickly melted away it wasn't even like a photo shoot it was like it turned into an artist painting on a canvas and as such things went smoothly just like that from there . It felt like the whole world had just disappeared in that moment as I posed with the air slightly hitting my face with my eyes closed . It was the most beautiful part of the shoot ( the bedsheet and bed poses ) . Time and time again I come across my photos and I relive the moments of every shot I took with Chris. I can honestly say I cannot wait for what the future holds and to have this experience again would be amazing . I have never felt so good so alive so ...I mean I can't even in words tell you really I want it all over again...and again and then some ....

There were countless other photographers I had looked at in the area, that all had subpar quality, forced poses, and all-out disappointing portfolios (and the vast majority were much more expensive). Even before the shoot, Emily was a dream to work with. She was great at providing reminders, suggestions, and recommendations for preparation, that really helped everything come together on the day of the session. As far as the session itself, Emily went out of her way to make everything completely seamless - from the hair and makeup to the actual shoot, it was a fun, laidback environment. She was flexible with me on some of the outfits I had trouble deciding between, and ended up allowing me to sneak a few looks in. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or awkward, which was unexpected given I am usually on the other end of the camera when it comes to photography. Historically, posing and serious facial expressions were something I had always struggled with while being photographed, but Emily does an amazing job at guiding you to capture the perfect shot. I was in awe of her passion, and that passion truly translated to the shoot and the end product. All-around it was an amazing, worthwhile experience, and I am beyond happy with the outcome.
