My observations are that they don't practice what they preach. This class was more or less a modified "yank and crank" style of dog training... prong collars and reprimands with a few treats thrown in for good measure. The instructor yelled at (and I do mean yelled) and manhandled my 6 month puppy for jumping up on him. He scared me, so I'm sure he scared my puppy! It was a miserable experience for me and my dog, and I left after one session of class (despite paying up front). The instructor did say one thing that I agreed with: that no dog should be punished for something that it hasn't learned yet. Amen to that! It's just a shame that they're all talk when it comes that philosopy at Candy's Canines. Be sure to observe a class to make sure that their training style matches your own. Lesson learned for me -- I should have followed that particular piece of advice myself.

I've NEVER been told to do something I felt unsafe for myself or my canine companion. Cheryl has guided me throughout my years of agility training to earn multiple advanced/elite titles on all my dogs. I've only trained one day a week for an hour and have earned many advanced national agility titles on my dogs. I think that Cheryl bends over backwards to help people and that this previous evaluation shouldn't be the only consideration on Yelp. Many, many people in the northern IL / southern WI area know that their dog training success has come from Cheryl Carter.

When Angela left, we were sad and tried other groomers in Pet Smart and near the area. No one compared to her. Happy to know that she now works for Tracy's and booked an appointment right away with ease. No waiting for weeks. My husband said that Koda was so happy to see Angela!! He was also was impressed with the place. Clean grounds. Pleasant staff. Koda loved seeing the horses on the farm and looked satisfied with his hair cut. We love Angela's work!! Our fur baby is happy again and looks very handsome!! Definitely recommend Tracy's!!

We had never used a kennel before, and were a little apprehensive due to our lack of experience. However, my daughter was very familiar with Sundance and highly recommended it. So, we decided to give it a try. I reached out and got a quick response. After confirming the dates I was looking for, they were clear in their communication with rates, what was needed (up to date Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines) and what was available (food, walks, playtime and medical administering). Dogs have their own "runs" with indoor and outdoor spaces and comforts from home are welcome (your own food, treats and toys). Morning and late afternoon hours are available for drop offs, which is very convenient. We added 3 walks a day and 3 playtime sessions. The outdoor time really helped our tripod acclimate to her new surroundings, even though she was a bit timid at first. The staff was very understanding of our initial concerns, and very reassuring. They took good care of her, making sure to keep an eye out and give us up dates. If you've never used a kennel before, Sundance is a great place to start. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, well kept grounds and immaculate kennels. I'm happy we found a kennel we can trust!

It was especially helpful when she was a puppy as she would come home and sleep afterward. We don't always get to see our friends on walks, but I know that while she's there she's amongst a lot of dog friends.. We've also boarded her and have had no issues whatsoever with that. Staff is very responsive to questions and requests.

I left my pets here expecting great care per reviews but was very disappointed…read more I received a call that my one pet would not put weight on his hind leg the night before I was to pick them up. It was the same the next morning, so I took him to emergency care since my vet didn't have any open appointments. I noticed he had several burrs, the painful kind in his tail and fur. The vet found burrs in his ears and after Knocking him out and X-rays we were told nothing was wrong that they could see except a little swelling in his hindquarters. The next day he was back to running around his yard and gas been the same since. My vet bill was astronomical, and no-one has called to see how he is. And I paid extra for walks where ge picked up these burrs.
