Made a comment "what's does her school think" who care what her school thinks, this is my personal personal choice. She also recommended certain things for allergies, and was supposed to give me dental recommendations, but after her long lecture on what she thought I should be doing and I opt out she shut down and did not give me anything. I would recommend searching for a doctor who is actually going to do her job and help with the children, not get upset when you have your personal opinions. I'm unsure if this is a rule for the whole practice and will call to ask or her personal opinion, but I hope you do proper research on this doctor and I recommend a doctor who is going to not judge, and actually do her job instead of being pushy about what she thinks I should do. I will be doing extensive research on this and plan on making multiple complaints. I would not recommend because it clear she could be very unprofessional and careless about patients if you have a different opinion other than hers.

Instead, I had to wait well over 2 hours past my scheduled appointment time, excluding the 30 minutes in which I arrived early. Instead of booking appointments with an appropriate amount of patient to doctor ratios, they would rather squeeze every penny out of the day they can get. Then, once taken back, I am forced to share a room, and therefor personal information, with another patient (isn't this against HIPPA?) Once taken to an actual room with a doctor, they treated me with such condescension that I wasn't sure I would have any authority over my treatment, let alone if I should be allowed to go home since OBVIOUSLY I don't know anything about my own health. Also, don't plan on going in well read on your treatment, otherwise they'll just sit back and smirk thinking it's cute that you know how bodies work since you're actually working on your own doctorate in healthcare. And before you can even ask anything out of the way, they'll let you know that they're only willing to go "by the book" if that book is written by big pharma and paying them extra benefits. Definitely an unpleasant experience, with rude nurses and doctors - their only good workers seemed to be at the front desk. Changing my care to State of Franklin, where after two visits I definitely feel like more than a number or paycheck, and like my input and individual needs actually matter.

I have been a patient at Dr Huffaker's office for over three years. He performed the InterStem…read moredevice to assist with incontinence issues I was having. I saw him for an exam prior to the surgery and that was it. Each time I had an appointment, I saw Jennifer, the nurse practitioner. On one particular appointment, I advised her that a "bump" was present above my tailbone. I asked her if it could be the wire that had moved to that area and she looked at it and commented that it was probably the wire. Keep in mind that I still had not seen Dr Huffaker. Presently, I have had numerous urinary tract infections. I called his office when I had one and the receptionist made me an appointment for two weeks later! I ended up going to Urgent Care! The dip test was positive, so the doctor prescribed an antibiotic. The appointment at Dr Huffaker's office finally came right after I had been diagnosed with the UTI. When I got there, they took a urine sample, I saw Jennifer and was told they'd let me know. Ultimately, the culture from Urgent Care came back negative. Dr Huffaker's nurse called me and very rudely said "you don't have a UTI!" I told her that I know my body and am certain when I have one. She continued to tell me "well, you don't have one" and that was the end of the conversation! I called the office manager and told her that I didn't appreciate the attitude of the nurse. She apologized and I was told if I have another UTI, I'm to call them, tell them I need to come into the office to give a specimen and after I do that, they'll call me! Now, anyone who has ever had a UTI knows that it's terribly uncomfortable and one needs treatment immediately! On Dr Huffaker's website, one of the treatments that he sees patients for is a UTI! After that fiasco, I once again spoke with the office manager and told her that I wanted the InterStem removed with no replacement. The surgery was scheduled. When I was in pre-op, Dr Huffaker came in to talk with me. He asked why I wanted it removed and I told him that there were issues that my husband and I had discussed and that was why. I proceeded to tell him about the "bump" above my tailbone and I thought the wire had moved. He immediately corrected me and said "well, it didn't move, it probably migrated!" I'm an educated person. Doesn't "to migrate" mean TO MOVE? And then,(and this made me see red) he said "well, that's probably why it wasn't working!" At this point, I'm thinking that he was either not told about it, or he just didn't want to bother with it! I wouldn't recommend anyone go there, especially if you're seeking treatment from a urologist! The lack of compassion and understanding at this office is lacking!
