My whole skin was left sticky as they don't clean. When I was dressing up, she didn't leave the room and told me I have to rush.. how ill mannered is that... Never ever go there.. it's cheap but not even worth a penny.

She has wonderful bedside manner and chatted with me throughout the entire appointment. I received a Hollywood wax and from start to finish, Marta prompted me what she was going to do before she did it and what she will follow up with next. She was able to get every single hair and was very thorough (getting a couple of strays with a tweezer). The waxing was pain free and the results of the wax is silky smooth. JULIA IS AMAZING!!…read more I have been seeing her for the past couple of years now and every visit is a pleasant one. when I first visited the Waxing Specialist I had never been for a professional wax before but Julia made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and informed of what was happening and what she was using I knew it was somewhere I would want to return to. The care and precision that goes into Julia's treatments is something I hadn't heard of before from family and friends and it is something that is not a requirement from the salon as a whole (discovered this when I had to be waxed by someone else as Julia was unwell). The price is quite high now, especially since the pandemic, but it is a price I am willing to pay for the top tier treatment and friendliness I get there. Thank you Julia!!

They offer all sorts of services, including beauty treatments (manicure, waxing etc), alternative therapies (acupuncture, reflexology, massage etc), therapists (dynamic therapy, life coaching etc), fitness (pilates, yoga, zumba) as well as all sorts of things for pregnant women. Bit of a one-stop shop for anything health-related that a doctor won't fix! Anyway I went there for their drop-in yoga: 8 pounds an hour with student ID. It was really great - a lovely light studio, with top notch and new looking equipment. The instructor was great, but I think the best bit for me so that the group was so small, only two others were attending. In a city crammed full of women doing yoga, that is a blessing to find indeed! If it wasn't for my permanent gym membership, I would consider coming to Vitality Centre often.

Having been a regular customer of the centre for the last seven years, I receive many marketing emails. Last week one came through for a special offer on sports massage or osteopathy, £30 instead of £50 and only 5 appointments available. I quickly called and made a booking for this week. On the day of my appointment, I receive a call from the vitality centre 2 hours before the scheduled time informing me that I cannot use this offer as it's only available for new clients and I had been to see the massagist before. This is not mentioned in the offer nor was it mentioned when I booked the appointment over the phone. I complained to the receptionist and said I would not go ahead with the appointment at full price and asked for athe manager to call me back. He called me back at 12:15, a quarter of an hour into the time when my appointment was supposed to be, I told him I was very unhappy with the he way I had been treated and in response he was extremely aggressive, said that I had been rude and disrespectful to his receptionist and was being rude and disrespectful to him and that he did not want people like me at his centre and proceeded to hang up on me. I am quite shocked at his attitude and lack of personal skills as well as any business sense. If this is the way they treat their long time customers, good luck to them in this competitive business environment.

There's 8 threading stations but I only see the use half the capacity! When you come in you need to pluck a ticket out of the machine like you would normally for the meat counters in some supermarkets. And while you are waiting there are some seats but you gotta be pretty lucky to get one as they are always taken. The actually service I received wasn't that great as I had to point out areas where the lady had missed and after 5 minutes it did not look like there was any difference made. Sorry to say I did not have the patience to tell the lady what she needed to do and she was not swing about her work not looking even or defining my eye brows. So next time I'm going to try a different women and hopefully you guys that's try here write a review or tip of who's the best threader there!

We had a thorough conversation about what my skin concerns were and what I wanted to improve and she gave me her recommendations. We both agreed that the radio frequency facial would be best for me as ageing and wrinkles were my main concern. I was slightly nervous about the facial as it was a machine facial and I had only had facials before with products but the therapist assured me it was a very comfortable/relaxing facial and she couldn't have been more right, in fact I slept through the whole treatment.
