This is my speed of chill. Look, clear water without the nasty salt, plenty of chairs, shallow water and life guards everything... No anxiety for this mom! My son liked it although he would have loved for there to be waves and deeper water, ya know the anxiety stuff.. The inflatable obstacles were fun but it's an additional charge. The Titan slide was really cool.. But beware and ready to bare... Better adjust yo self before you stand up. I got to moving so fast down that slide my swimsuit britches disappeared . But worth the wedgie! My son loved the pizza and the folks were very nice and helpful.

Not my first time here, but definitely the dirtiest visit. Trash everywhere, diapers, socks (I've counted 3 diff ones in the sand while waddling to my seat)

It's been closed for 8 months. The lagoon is empty. Homeowners in the community are still paying HOA fees but have no access to the lagoon.

Visited Lagoon fest and ran into a very kind young man name Dylan. He made sure we had everything we needed so ask for him next time you go.

I have stayed in nicer hotels in Mexico. Also, when we tried getting someone to wait on us at the pool and the Blake Restaurant, they basically ignored us until we said something. Also, the food was mediocre at best as well. It had no flavor. Also, we were told that the Steakhouse was closed on Sundays by two different employees. Come to find out, it was not closed after all. They need to get all of their employees on the same page. Also, we were never greeted when we arrived as well as when we left. We won't be staying here again. Since we paid alot for a two night stay, the hotel should have been excellent.

Kids, grandkids, everyone had a great time. Our rooms weren't anything special but we didn't come for the rooms. They were clean and comfortable and that's about all we needed from them. You can stay in theme rooms for a different experience. The water park was awesome. So much fun on every attraction. The pools and areas around them were clean and well staffed. We didn't try the restaurants. We ordered pizza.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Our stay at Great Wolf Lodge Webster…read morewas extremely disappointing for the amount of money we spent. The water park was the best part, and the kids did enjoy themselves, but everything outside of that was frustrating. At Fireside, our server Kennedy seemed irritated and rushed, and we repeatedly had to track her down for basic service. I was able to eat, but my sister's burger was served incorrectly and completely raw inside. She had to wait while the rest of us finished eating, and by the time we got someone's attention, the other food locations had closed, leaving her without a meal. Guest Relations offered bowling and mini golf as compensation, but there were less than 30 minutes left to use them. We tried bowling anyway, only to have balls get stuck and pins become tangled repeatedly. We had to find an employee around 8 times before giving up. Our room also repeatedly became extremely hot even after adjusting the thermostat, making it difficult to get comfortable or sleep. Even the children's water area had issues. Glass was brought into the area and broken, causing it to temporarily close. We also experienced inconsistent enforcement of the children's area rules. When a lifeguard in orange Elijah would hold the door for children to escape then cornered my 2 year old daughter shaming her for doing what every other kid was doing playing in the water at the bottom of the slide. Overall, we spent far too much of our trip trying to find employees, deal with broken amenities, and get basic issues addressed. For the price, I expected much better customer service, working amenities, and a comfortable room. Unfortunately, the water park was the only part of the experience that lived up to our expectations.

Of all of the hotels I've ever stayed at the staff at home to suites in Texas City was by far the…read morenicest and friendliest!! the hotel was nice clean and well kept. Breakfast was great but as with any hotel, don't get there five minutes before breakfast is over and expect all of the items to be available. In my opinion, you have no reason to complain if you wait till the last minute to get up. I would definitely stay at this location again and recommended to others.

Something was biting me ALL night long, both nights…read more The floors are extremely thin and I was up listening to the people upstairs walk, run and crash (off their bed?..) all night. (Luckily just the first night - but the mites/fleas got me both nights.) The lobby, elevators and hallways smell AWFULLY - I mean it just absolutely REEKS - of artificial, stifling air freshener, AND WITH A BIG CHEAP SCENTED CANDLE BURNING ON TOP OF THAT - and the rooms smell of that gross Southern gas station mop cleaner. When I asked for a different room because the first smelled like sewage, the front desk lady stared at me like she had no idea what to do. When I reexplained the situation, she claimed there were no rooms available because they were fully booked. When I explained that I KNOW that unless I was the very LAST person to check in, there were rooms available that she could move around, she grudgingly changed the room. When that one reeked too, she again lied and said there were no rooms; when it was clear I wasn't going back to the smelly room, she magically found another. As another reviewer stated, the bathroom door design is bad, such that the door doesn't fully open and you have to crawl over the toilet to get to the sink. The toilet didn't flush well. The towels had all this gross long black fake hair on them and they, and the sheets, smelled of cologne/perfume. Though they advertise the rooms as having kitchens, there's no stove or oven; it's just a larger fridge, a small kitchen sink, some dishes and towels (all dirty and gross - bring your own); paper towels and counter space. And a microwave. The poolside rooms are loud with kids yelling till 11 pm. The good thing was the fridge actually got cold; and the A/C was only mildewy for the first 5 minutes and after that smelled fine. The mites in the bed and ungodly stink of the lobby were deal killers. Strongly recommend staying somewhere else if you're at all sensitive to either one.

Additionally there's a wooden fence behind the hotel that makes you walk further to get around it. There's only a Texas Roadhouse restaurant close by that's got bad yelp reviews so I didn't try it. There's an adjacent factory outlet but all the fast food options in the food court also had pretty bad reviews. We had our driver take us over to Buc-ee's and we did like the food there. So the hotel location is not great for a family like ours with 2 nights and no rental car. We flew in from CA to Hobby. The hotel itself had an odd front door that was so nondescript that I wasn't sure we had pulled up to the entrance. It's plain glass unmarked entrance. It looked like a side door. But I went in to find the front desk and checked in. The woman was nice and since I'm platinum I received a gift bag which was a nice perk with some snacks. We did not like the breakfast food at all. The sausage is that awful turkey sausage. They also had a strange ground sausage that looked like animal food in pellets. I would much rather have a jimmy dean breakfast sandwich. And the eggs always are dehydrated mixed with water and nasty. The room itself was clean. It had 2 queens and a sofa with twin trundle bed for the kids. The pool is another story. Texas is hot and humid and a good swimming pool is important. This "pool" was smaller than our hotel room. A real disappointment I would probably not stay at this location again.

Our room was clean and comfortable, we did ask for additional bedding for the trundle bed and got a ripped blanket. The front desk also seemed irritated we were asking. It was very convenient to have the outlet mall and Buc-ee's within walking distance. The included breakfast was nice. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Our unit was very clean with great views. You get a deck and a balcony! Staff was friendly. We will only stay here for future trips. This property is nowhere near the five-star rating it may have deserved in the past…read more From the moment we opened the door, we were hit with a strong musty, mildew-like odor. After looking around, it quickly became apparent that the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. We had to clean the refrigerator and bathrooms. There was an "alarm like" sound as you walked in and we discovered that flushing the 1st floor half bathroom toilet in order to make it stop. The condition of the bathrooms was especially disturbing. The toilet seats were so unsanitary that my husband went to Walmart and purchased two brand-new toilet seats to replace them. One bathroom had such a strong urine odor coming from the floor that we scrubbed and cleaned it twice, yet the smell still would not go away. Because of the overall initial inspection of the property, we were uncomfortable sleeping directly on the bedding provided. We purchased mattress covers from Walmart. Good thing we trusted our instinct, when we removed it, we discovered what appeared to be bedbugs! At that point, we decided to leave the property. Rather than remain for the rest of our reservation, we chose to leave a day and a half early and return home. Our experience was extremely disappointing. Based on the cleanliness, odor, bathroom conditions, and what we discovered around the bedding, I cannot recommend this property to any new comers looking for lodging. Location does NOT make up for uncleanliness.
