But as someone who works in the industry, the markup is absolutely ridiculous that it's almost theft. And yes you definitely get what you pay for but you will pay $6000 for two side chairs. We have been lied to by Rori Rhodes, Teresa Higdon, and MCGS concerning the delivery of our furniture. Apparently I am supposed to know the definitions of "Ready to Ship", " In Transit" , and "Ready for immediate delivery" actually mean 4-6 months, or in this case MAYBE the end of January, 2022....unless the factory in Vietnam closes AGAIN. Rori Rhodes, NEVER told us about any issues until pressed repeatedly. Today, December 22, 2021 she admitted that out furniture is indefinitely delayed. We paid by check, which means we can not file for a refund under our credit card. Now I know why she didn't want to take a credit card, because we would have been protected. Order whatever you want online, don't go here, they are doing the exact same thing you could do, and you would have more protection and you wouldn't have to pay the extra 20% for her "services". My furniture doesn't match. My personal belongings are still in black buckets with yellow lids from Home Depot. My bedroom side table is a bucket. I have a 300 lb+ coffee table I can not move to clean under. I trusted Rori Rhodes and McGannon Showrooms... for what? $63,000 later I have no shelves, and I am living out of buckets. We went $13,000 over budget (and we were willing to spend more) to live in our beautiful condo that we have worked our entire life for. The pictures are reflective of the current state of our condo. We strongly recommend against anyone hiring Emeric DeGaul to handle an estate sale in their homes…read more He presented himself very professionally initially and provided us with good references, but did not sell many of our belongings up for sale and let us down at every turn in our prestigious Preston Hollow home estate sale. 1) We signed a contract with him months in advance, and although he informed us we would need to be moved out for approximately 3 weeks for him to conduct the presale process and public sale, he never told us until a week prior to the sale that he would need to actually live at our house during that time -- 2-1/2 weeks free of charge while we paid all home expenses! 2) Emeric assured us he was an expert in antique furniture sales and had many potential buyers, but he sold very few of our valuable antiques and got very little money for them. 3) He is the master of nickel-and-diming people: we sold an outdoor beverage cooler, who our landscaper asked if he could buy for $100, and I handed over Emeric's 30% commission to him, but he then demanded I give him an additional $15 because he had been planning to sell it for $150. 4) He also assured us he would have a team at the public sale to ensure our home was not damaged -- but we found a large hole in the wall from someone ripping down a large tv bracket - which Emeric had witnessed and not disclosed to us. When we informed him he owed us $250 for the repair, he agreed, then sent a letter with only $125 and BS excuse for why he wouldn't pay for the entire repair. The entire process was a huge disappointment on every level -- especially the small amount of money for which he sold the contents of our home.

I always feel like the employees could care less if I came to this exciting store. It's VERY rare for anyone to even acknowledge my entering the store. If I have a question, I would have to search the store for someone who would help me. Good service? No, not at all! If they treat other "potential" customers like I am normally treated, I would think sales would be effected, the bottom line; but they seem to be successful and their success makes me happy for the small business owners in Dallas!!!!!
