Candy and team were very responsive and answered all of my questions prior to booking. The maternity session was such a treat and so stress-free! I decided at 34 weeks that I wanted maternity photos and Candy made it happen. There are so many dresses to choose from so I didn't have to worry about shopping for dresses. I just showed up with a small bag and Candy and Nicole took care of the rest. They were so kind and made me feel at ease during my session. It was nice get done up after spending most of my pregnancy during the pandemic in loungewear. The newborn session was also fantastic! It's apparent that Candy has a lot of experience with babies and trusted her with my daughter. Similar to the maternity session, Candy thinks of it all and makes the experience exceptional...from the preparation to the props, wraps, and accessories she provides. I am so happy we were able to capture these moments and love the photos and albums. And finally but not least... the makeup and hair!! Not only is Nicole very sweet, she is very talented! She did my makeup both times and I loved it.... so much that I slept in my makeup after the second session (figured it was worth risking any breakouts!) If you are looking for fantastic photos, a great end-to-end experience, with a professional and kind team, I highly recommend Sugashoc. Sugashoc, Candy and Nicole - Thanks so much!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE CHERRYVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY. My fiancé hired Cherryville Photography…read moreto capture his proposal to me May 24, 2024. There was a mixup and a random photographer started taking our photos. My fiancé was so confused and assumed the photographer was hired through Cherryville. He proceeded to get on one knee and propose. Unbeknownst to us, this photographer was NOT from Cherryville. He just wanted to capture the lighting and had no idea my fiancé was going to propose. The photographer my fiancé hired was Nikki. Nikki came over shortly after our photo shoot (with the wrong photographer) and we explained what had occurred. She was completely understanding and professional. We both acknowledged what transpired was no one's fault and one big misunderstanding. At this point, a surprise dinner with family at a nearby restaurant was approaching. My fiancé, Dan, asked Nikki if there was any way would schedule another photo shoot since we only had 15 minutes. We understand that photo shoots take time and he paid for a 50 minute session. Nikki quickly said she was totally fine with doing a shorter shoot and would make it happen no problem. We were impressed with her confidence and agreed to do a quick shoot instead of rescheduling. That was a BIG mistake! The photos came out TERRIBLE. The poses Nikki had us do made no sense and the angles were unflattering and horrible. Out of all of the pictures she took, not one was acceptable. Now, I'm not one to complain, but the photos were laughable. My family and friends were cracking up over how ridiculous we looked in them. I remember thinking that the poses she had us do during the shoot felt awkward and strange, but we trusted her professional opinion. What do we know? The amount of time it took for the photo shoot had nothing to do with the finished product. The poses we were asked to do and the angles she chose set us up for failure. Similar to other negative reviews left, we would have been better off having a friend use their iPhone. When I called Cherryville Photography to voice my concerns, Deanna answered the phone. I thought I dialed the wrong number because she casually said, "hello?" As if I were a friend calling her personal phone. That was a red flag because if you're going to use your personal phone as a business phone as well, you should most definitely answer all calls professionally so people know where they are calling. After stating my concerns, Deanna scheduled a phone conference later in the day with her sister, Nikki. I sent her the ridiculous photos prior to the phone call so she would understand the issues I had with her company's work. During the call she offered to reschedule a new shoot free of charge. While I appreciated the offer, I was very turned off by the quality of their work and had no interest in wasting my time or theirs. Again, the poses were awful and unnatural. I thanked Deanna and respectfully declined her offer, asking for our money back. She then offered a gift card/credit for us to use in the future. Again, I let her know I was not interested. That's when she lost her cool and got very snarky and unprofessional. She said in a condescending tone, "Hey! Here's an idea...why don't you give your worst enemy the gift card so they can get awful pictures!" I was shocked by her wildly inappropriate, sarcastic comment. It didn't take long for her true colors to come out. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional establishment before. My fiancé and I were a deer in headlights after that call. So now we're out over $400 and have NOTHING but horrible pictures to show for. This place is a joke. Yes, we laugh over how horrible the pictures are, but I'd rather spend the same amount of money and go to a comedy show. We feel completely taken advantage of. See below. THE PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! I have already contacted Better Business Bureau. They were appalled by the photos.

Deanna Seiple with Cherryville Photography was recommended to my husband and I for our wedding that…read moretook place on July 3, 2022. Following that recommendation was the worst mistake we made for our wedding. First of all, when we initially spoke with Ms. Seiple, she promised that she would be at our wedding as the main photographer. Instead, she sent 2 young novice photographers, which was evident in the quality of photos we received from our wedding day. She did not even have the courtesy to let us know that she would not be able to attend and photograph our wedding. When we finally received our wedding album proof, the photos were arranged where many photos were split between pages and did not look very thoughtfully or professionally put together. She was also recharging us for the album which we had already paid for as was in our original contract. According to Ms. Seiple, she did not have access to the original contract because they switched to a new system within their company. Since we were able to provide proof that this was in our original contract, she agreed to revise the album and only charge us for an additional 10 photos that I wanted to be included in the album. Three months went by and we heard nothing from Ms. Seiple regarding our album, nor did we receive a proof with the revisions we requested. At that point I emailed her again and was given another excuse for the unprofessionalism demonstrated stating that she had been having intermittent power outages. It is now almost 2 years since our wedding and we are still left without an album. I think we've been very patient and allowed for ample time for Cherryville Photography to satisfy their end of our agreement. We are left feeling like we have nothing to show for our big day and that since we made the mistake of paying for their services ahead of time, we have been pushed aside. We are now at the point where we are going to seek legal advice. If you are considering hiring Cherryville Photography for your wedding, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
