I have used Lady J's Florist for several floral needs. Their service and floral selections are outstanding. My friends are always pleased! I sent a floral arrangement to a dear friend in a nursing facility. Not only did she rave about the floral arrangement, but she also stated that different employees stopped by her room to admire the flowers! Needless to say, Lady J's Florist is my go-to florist! Waited all day for delivery of flowers for an event! By 7pm I told the sender that they had not arrived. At 8:20 pm, there was a knock at the door...Ring was charging , and it was the bouquet of underwhelming flowers! A dozen ill arranged roses, some looked old and the fillers looked old as well! There were waaaay too many flowers in this vase! It's as if they realized that they forgot the order and threw something together and delivered it! Wouldn't recommend. Highly overpriced and an absurd amount charged for delivery. $28.00 for less than 4 miles!? And an additional $5.99 service fee! An $80.00 bouquet ended up costing $120.00 in the end. Not to mention they did not arrive on the day they were requested to be delivered, but a day later with ZERO notice or apology. And they looked nothing like the website description. Save your money. Go somewhere else. read more

The WORST florist I have ever dealt with. The "Owner" was rude and he lied. First of all what he advertises and what he delivers DO NOT MATCH! I called and asked him to give me what I paid for. He apologized and said he would fix it and give her a box of chocolates for my daughters birthday. I appreciated that. WELL..he went to redeliver, asked for the other flowers back, very rudely and did not take the chocolates that HE stated he would give her. I called him to ask what happened...he proceeds to tell me he didnt make any money and he hung up on me! BEWARE......much better options anywhere but here! read more

I purchased an arrangement for a dear friend's funeral. I was promised and paid for a large planter, with 3 or 4 plants, 6 cut roses, and a blue ribbon. What was delivered, was a potted Peace Lilly with a white ribbon-no roses. I would not have cared if they were the same price, but they weren't. I left a voicemail to try and rectify this, or at least get a refund for the significant difference in price, but haven't gotten a response from the owner. I even gave them a $25 cash tip! There were other minor issues that occurred during the ordering process that made them look unprofessional, but I was willing to overlook that, in order to support local businesses. I won't be doing business with them again, and neither should you. read more

I had ordered an arrangement for a funeral that I specifically wanted in yellow flowers. I had asked for carnations, daisies, maybe roses. What showed up was 5 sunflowers. I was so disappointed! Someone sent my husband a gorgeous arrangement from Lady J's on the day of his surgery and it looked just as good when he left the hospital five days later. Everyone who came in the room commented on how pretty the flowers were + several people complimented them as I carried them out on our way home. Pulled out the lilies after a week and kept the rest on display for many more days. read more

Owner is sweet, but service and delivery and pricing not so much. Pretty disappointed. 145.00 for a Rose tower. Doesn't look like a Rose Tower at all like the picture online. Wrote the wrong last name for Family and caused 3 days of chaos for the grieving family trying to locate the flowers, and names of senders were cut off and missing from the card too. I gave 2 stars because the roses themselves were pretty, and they did deliver on time, but otherwise would have been a 1 or a zero. Apart from the beauty of the roses themselves, all else was a disaster, and super overpriced. This shouldn't cost more than 80.-100. Max. at the high end as they also charge a delivery fee on top as well. read more

They don't go above and beyond for there customers. The owner ( Reggie) is extremely rude and no since of customer service. If you have a business, especially a small business ( CUSTOMER SERVICE) should be your number 1 priority. I will not spend my hard earned dollars in this local business and advise you not do so as well. The only way for a owner to understand what the customer needs is to listen, this owner couldn't do that for less than a minute. After being a one time dissatisfied client in September 2020 They fraudulently charged my card almost 2 months later a second time and lied and said a "Steven Duncan who is a 4yr costumer" used my card for a $60 a purchase. NOT POSSIBLE! My card was in my purse where it belonged. I was horrified and confused as to how this "Steven" had my card info. I looked at the automated receipt that was texed to me right after this fraudulent BS AND WOW it shows my card was manually entered so im more cunfused the lady i spoke to said she personally saw this card and entered it. A LIE! My business card never leaves my possession. Once I threatend the police and a dispute the woman said she will have Reggie call me and sort this out. While i waited i called my bank and had a new card reissued since my card was fraudulently used. I waited 2 hrs before talking to Reggie. He by far is beyond unprofessional he was argumentative and tried to justify why they store your payment info, then blame my situation on a glitch although it showed manual entry and the woman i spoke to earlier stated she entered my card info. No one apologized and no One tried to make it right. Reggie called me to confront why i disputed these fraudulent charges lying stating he refunded my card and then asked for MY Bank Statement to Prove My card was chaged! but you cant issue a refund once a new card has been issued. So you have to let the banks do their job. Not only was this a scare it inconvenience me from maintaining supplies for my store since I had to wait on another card, due to their treachery. I called this place at a quarter to 4pm yesterday to see if I could get flowers delivered 4 blocks away by 5pm. The first thing I did was apologize for the short time frame, and the second thing I did was say, "if you can't make it by 5, then let me know and we'll forget about it" They took my order and said they'd get it there. I didn't even choose the flowers, I just gave them carte blanche to do any arrangement they could put together in short time. My girlfriend already at home by 6 got a voicemail that is time stamped at 6:07 that they were just being delivered. I call this morning and was told they were there at 5, and tried to reach myself and her, but were unable to.. which is lie number one. I should have requested a refund but whatever, I just told them to make sure she's on the early delivery batch today. She text me at 12:45 today and they just arrived, and the delivery person took it upon himself to say that "I didn't call in the order till 4:30 yesterday and that I WAS LUCKY THEY ACCEPTED MY ORDER." Lie number two. Now aside from that, why would they feel the need to tell a recipient the details of a gift being ordered? I'm wondering if they included the receipt for the $75 they sure as hell ran my credit card for before 5. They're a two star place for a reason. I only went here cause it was close and they assured me they could make it, otherwise I would have just waited and ordered from Bookay, which is the best flower shop in Indy, but unfortunately for me, they kept it real and told me they couldn't make it in time, and that was with a 3hr heads up. I'm not sure if all of my frustration should be taken out on this florist, as my husband ordered Valentine's Day flowers through teleflora, and delivered locally by this place. But, my flowers were finally delivered on the 15th at 5 pm. They also have already died. I'm always excited to get flowers from a florist because they tend to last longer than store bought. My husband just had a beautiful bouquet created and delivered in a fairly short notice! It was perfect and the delivery person was so kind!

They are adequate for walk-ins to purchase whatever happens to be fresh and available. Likewise, they seem to be able to handle online orders. However, I would not trust them for any custom arrangements. I went so far as to walk in and order an arrangement a full week ahead of delivery. I specified flowers, greens, delivery address (in writing--text), and time. On the day of delivery, the time was approaching, and the arrangement had not been delivered. Calling did not get a result, so I took off work to go personally to the store. Upon arrival, the owner kept mentioning an arrangement of 10 stems. I had ordered and paid for 12 stems. They were able to track down the arrangement, which had not been delivered. The address on it was not the one I had given them (in writing), and there were 10 stems, not 12. I was verbally told that they would "take care" of me. I had to get back to work. So, basically, even with a week in advance, they got the arrangement wrong, got the address wrong, and probably won't make the deadline for delivery, either.
