Entering my senior year of High School and the chaos of college applications, I was very lost on…read morewhat a strong college essay and application looked like. I remember having different extracurricular experiences to talk about but there was a missing piece of how to word my essay and let alone start on my essays. I spent 2 weeks blankly starring at my document before realizing I needed more help than I expected. It wasn't until I started working with John and Jamie that I was able to talk about my life experiences and turn them into strong essays that reflects who I am and the type of leader I am in any community. Working with them helped me quickly understand how college essays are structured and how I can word my experiences to illustrate my strong characteristics as a student and leader. I really appreciated the weekly workshops provided by Jamie and John for extra time to spend on essays. As someone who had a hard time finding time and motivation to work on my essays, the workshops and set meeting times held me accountable for getting my work done before each meeting. I would 100% recommend John's service to anyone else struggling during this process. I am now committing to UC Davis and I couldn't be more grateful for the help provided by John and Jamie.

He put a lot of thought and paid extra attention to every details of the application forms. He is our guardian on meeting every milestone in this journey. John is more of a mentor to my son as well. He helped him navigate through his stress and anxiety, so that he could focus on making progress in his course work and applications. We would highly recommend John, he is the one you can count on!

Who would have thought that Google's autonomous car had been an ongoing research since 2003? Almost every "upcoming" breakthrough in technology you hear in the news has been happening in-house long before everyone knows it, and SU is one of the best channels to get a good glimpse of this kind of technology. Learn first-hand how nanotechnology is used to curtail the world's leading causes of human maladies; be challenged to think exponentially - far beyond common case studies in tackling business and real-world scenarios through Kurzweil Technologies and X Prize Foundation; learn your genetic makeup and daily fitness analytics through 23andme's and fitbit's devices, and explore better ways of turning so-called obsolescence/untapped elements of the earth or solar system into sustainable and useful energy resources. The curriculum is converged by 2 programs: Executive Program and Graduate Studies Program. Leading thinkers from over 100 countries are selected to learn and share their ideas in space, robotics, networks, bioremediation / medical technological epiphanies among many others. From thereon, they can walk away with interesting ideas that can be applied to their respective lines of expertise and knowledge worldwide. The awesome part of this program is SU philanthropically chooses leaders in developing nations to enroll, all expenses paid, to grow more and provide better solutions to their nation's growing crisis. You've got to check this place out if you have kids who are into making stuff like lego and robot…read more Even if not, you should still check it out. Me and my 6yr old son went there on a grand opening and saw full of awesomeness what parents would love to have their kids introduce to the world of coding! They had things I've been wanting to try out such as educational drone class, basic coding in different age levels, lego tech, and etc. So my son is currently taking an Ozobot class (children level introduction to what's call 'STEM' with fun robot coding) and he absolutely got sucked into it. Each class is for 60min, but he told me he loved the time. I feel the enthusiasm when he tells me about things he had to do in the class. he said it was easy and loved the fact that he made a cute little robot move in different ways. I found out all of the founding members are seasoned professionals in engineering and when I talk to them they were super friendly and kind. Right now they have awesome deals for their classes. We got our free 2hours ticket at our first visit! Definitely recommend this place to my firends and anyone who are interested in introducing their kids to world of STEM.
