Racism is one of the most f***ed up concepts on the planet, so if you have racial prejudices, trust me, if you ever trust me about one thing, trust me on this, get the f*** over them. We are all the same. You are wrong. Thanks. Speaking of wrong, it's wrong to put this stadium where it's hard to get to, and to put the prices so damn high, and for that reason I have to give it a 4 instead of a 5. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - I couldn't believe how much I had to pay for a ticket. Is this the Premier League? I think not. I paid more here than I paid even at a Fulham game... a home Premier League game in London! I'm not sure why this is the case and believe me it's the only reason it scores a 4 instead of 5. Because this is an absolutely remarkable stadium. State of the art, beautiful, magnificent, with intense and loud support from the rabid Coventry fans. I love it. It's a great place to watch concerts too. It's twice the stadium Highfield Road was. But as long as the prices are this high, I can't give them more than 4. The last game I saw here was 2011, and I'm hoping to go back to another one in 2016... if I can afford it. It reminds me of Manchester City's stadium, believe it or not. I've been inside both - lucky boy. I've been to most UK & US stadiums, due to lifelong obsessions with travel, sport & especially footy (soccer to Americans). Born & raised in England, I followed Oxford United (hometown team) to stadia all over the country at away games, and later Liverpool (fave team) around. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are from first-hand personal experience, usually from several visits. In 2011, I was on music tour in the UK, and visited most stadiums for fun in my spare time. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was "stuck" in UK for 3 months, I went to hundreds yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at most, which I'll post later. Also, when back in UK I'll take more pix, and add more stadia! *** return to regular review *** But I still love this place. It's capable of a great atmosphere (the team will need to get back to the Prem for that, they're 2 tiers down), it's held rock concerts like the awesome Bon Jovi an the awful Nickelback and someday hopefully me, and it's a cute sky blue like the team. It looks great inside and out like my gf. It was part of the Olympics and can hold a whopping 32k fans which is fantastic for a new stadium. It cost a whopping 113 million which is crazy. Because the stadium is owned by ACL I'll keep it at 4 stars, they're really mean to the club itself. It's an AMAZING stadium, but CCFC need to own it in order for this to work properly.

The Barclaycard arena was like any other venue for concerts or shows. It seemed very organised with the Stuards ushering people into lines to go through. I fulfilled a boyhood dream this year…read more Badminton is Malaysia's favourite sport and one of the sport's premier events, the All England Championships, has been held at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham since 1994. I recall being allowed to stay up late to watch my badminton heroes play on live telecast when I was growing up in Malaysia. It all seemed so far away, so exotic, so out of reach. So, I was overjoyed this year to find out that my parents were visiting me from Malaysia exactly on the dates that the All England Badminton Championships would be taking place this year. Booking tickets for all of us on line proved quite painless. We were able to walk to the NIA from our city centre hotel in about 15 minutes. There is parking available at the arena though it does seem to be in the middle of a fairly residential area. The excitement built as we ran into more badminton fans and we kept passing posters advertising the All Englands with Malaysia's world number 1 Lee Chong Wei taking centre stage. The only delay was in collecting pre-booked tickets. It wasn't really clear which of the many windows to join and lots of people were kept outside in the rain as people shuffled forward slowly to get the tickets. Once in, we could hardly believe we were actually at the finals of this legendary event that we used to watch on TV for so many years. The venue seemed a little more friendly than the rather stark Wembley Arena which used to host this event before it moved to Birmingham. There were enough fast food stands serving the usual fare and the toilets were clean. There were a lot of stands selling badminton kit and memorabilia. They had laid on some pre-match entertainment in the form of a classical music trio playing live before the badminton began. The actual set up for the badminton was good with side lighting making it easy for the players to spot the shuttles when they were lifted high and sightlines were good for spectators. The full house of good-natured supporters from all over the globe created a wonderful atmosphere, chanting and cheering on their favourites. Unlike football, no crowd segregation was necessary to keep the peace. The final icing on the cake came for us when we watched Lee Chong Wei defeat his personal nemesis and close rival Lin Dan in the final match of the championship to successfully defend his All England title. One of the best live sporting events in my life

First-Hand Experience: I've always loved Coventry. They're a huge, glorious, wonderful East Midlands team that doesn't get the credit they deserve. They overachieved for years being high up in the Prem and winning an FA Cup. They have to be a 5 star team because their huge fan base are wonderful. I've seen them live at their old and new stadiums, and away from home in Oxford too. They were always a great team to watch with loud and passionate fans in big numbers. 5 star all the way. This is one of the classic teams of English football, and is massively supported with a beautiful new 32k stadium, which they really need to buy. They are legends of the game, they even won the 87 FA Cup and did so in brilliant style thanks to Micky Quinn. They once beat Bayern Munich in Europe. Their beautiful light blue kit is one of the best in football. They were in the Prem for a very very long time and will be again someday, because the team deserves it and the stadium deserves it. They were relegated in 2001 after 34 amazing years in the top flight which is a huge achievement. They finished 7th a few times and had Liverpool great Gary Gillespie playing for them for ages. And it's always fun to hear the pundits' commentary on Coventry. Ha. Ha. Ha.

It's an intense little stadium with passionate fans and they bring the best out of their little team. If they ever get to the league and renovate and start packing the place, I'll give it one more. The ground has been around since 1890, amazingly, and is currently the home to Worcester City (temporarily) as well as the Harriers. It's a good stadium for lower league football for sure. And as a fan said on the team Yelp page, of the stadium: "It might not be the most glamorous or biggest stadium in the country but it the atmosphere makes up for that! The prices are a good price too, varying game to game. There is plenty of parking around the stadium, and you can park down streets nearby if they are full! If the football isn't good, don't worry! The half-time food will is guaranteed to be great! Definitely worth a trip out to support the local team once in a while."

First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - Walsall is a special place to me because of my 2011 music tour in the UK. I loved being here and had a great experience here. I've been back to this stadium only once since the first visit and that was in 2014. Both times I was amazed at how loud and intense this crowd is. Molineux Stadium is home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, at the time of writing this of the English…read morePremier League (but knowing Wolves they probably won't be in it for long), is 3 years older than the likes of St James' Park and Goodison Park, it is one of the oldest grounds I've visited, being opened (and built) in 1889, but the stadium has been "renovated" since then. Traditionally it is an old stadium, in terms of going straight to your seats from the gate without a concourse you'd often see at newer stadiums such as Wembley and the Etihad Stadium. I visited here earlier in the season for the 0-0 draw between Wolves and my club, Manchester City, away fans are located in the Steve Bull Stand, and this ground remains one of the few stadiums I've been too where away fans are located on the east/west sides of the ground, not directly being the goal, another example of this was Goodison Park. The view at the ground for me was quite poor with multiple obstacles in the way of viewing, including stewards, television cameras and advertising stands, there also was an issue with stewards standing covering the disabled section, meaning people with wheelchairs/guide dogs etc were unable to see part of the game, with the game level and a last-minute free-kick this caused quite a stir and really is not something you want, especially when paying a lot of money for a ticket, throughout the game stewards were rude and even stopped myself (and others) from coming forward to clap the players off the pitch as they come closer towards the fans at the end of the game, this is probably the only ground that has done this, with stewards at most other stadiums being friendly and allowing it. The seats at the ground also were old fashioned, I did notice one chair which went alongside a disabled person which was basically a worn down, dirty chair instead of the traditional match seat which also was laughably terrible, which helped match the standards of Wolverhampton Wanderers, of course, who is the club that played here. Getting from the city centre to the stadium also is a little difficult with the best possible route being on foot, as it is under a mile, a lack of signposts and the ones that are there being confusing, and many large buses and coaches obstructing the route, especially near the ground doesn't help. There are multiple hotels nearby in case you need to stay for a night game, including a Novotel and a Premier Inn I passed on my way back to the train station after the game, which also is heavily staffed (police offers) and a parking area, where one might want to park if travelling with the car, although I'm not sure of the prices there. The Molineux Stadium in most regards from getting there too the overall match experience is a really poor ground, and most things regarding the stadium (even the result I'm sad to admit) went wrong, so I sadly feel the stadium as a whole is just a huge letdown, I'm not sure of any plans to relocate but this old stadium really isn't something to be proud of and in my opinion sadly deserves a single one-star rating, which also means I have given Molineux Stadium one star for every LEGITIMATE goal in a game, which was courtsey of an amazing header from one of the worlds best defenders, Aymeric Laporte.
