For years, I wanted an Alaskan Malamute. I researched breeders, followed countless programs online, and spent a lot of time trying to find the right fit. To be honest, I had mixed feelings about many of the breeders I came across. Something always seemed to be missing.
Ironically, I found Mountain Ridge Malamutes during one of the hardest seasons of my life. My father was on hospice, and one of the nurses caring for him had recently gotten an Alaskan Malamute puppy. As she talked about her experience, she couldn't say enough good things about the breeder, Loretta Roach.
