If you don't know how too send your resume with your cover letter, I wouldn't recommend them, but luckily enough I ended up being able to do that. I was working at Pizza Hut part time, post college. Mom got it for me as a Christmas gift(only thing I asked for) felt like a good shot. I got into the field I studied at school. Completed the management program. Got promoted to salary. You are the only reason your career will be successful, these guys just provided the opportunity. My friend asked how I got my job, and I honestly forgot their name. Curiosity won. I lost the survey I was suppose to give them about my job, and had to give them the help they gave me.

The phone number brought me to Northwest Employment, a company that, for the low low price of $190, will help you get a job. I was upset that the ad had tricked me into calling, but decided to be open-minded and see what they had to offer before writing them off as a complete scam. I had just been telling my husband the night before that I would pay good money for someone to help me find a job, and here was someone asking for good money! So I listened to the woman's spiel, despite her brusque, bordering on rude demeanor, and rushed, I-don't-have-time-for-this tone. If it works, I suppose it's not such a bad deal- they say they give you access to hundreds of jobs, and you get to meet with employers same day. However, I do not spend nearly $200 without first discussing it with my husband, or, for that matter, having more than 30 seconds to think it over myself. I politely told her that I had had two interviews earlier in the week, and didn't think it prudent to spend so much money before hearing back from those employers. She responded, brusquely but appropriately, with something along the lines of "We wish you luck." I opened my mouth to ask for her name and extension, so that if I needed the service next week, I could speak directly to her (in case of commission), but she had already hung up! Reading the above paragraph, I suppose it doesn't sound that awful, but I was very taken aback and offended. I was seriously considering this service, despite the somewhat dishonest way I came into contact with them. I could not believe the complete lack of customer service and common courtesy- as soon as she realized I wasn't whipping out my credit card, she was done. I didn't use the tone I normally use with solicitors- I wasn't shutting her down, or weaseling out of the situation- I simply was not willing to part with $200 less than a minute after being made aware of the service. I was ready with pen and paper to take down her name in case I didn't get the two jobs I had already interviewed for. I've never been hung up on by a business before. Ouch. I suppose it's a good thing, though. The internet seems to be rife with complaints and screams of "scam!". Even if you choose to trust what they sell, beware that their customer service is abysmal, and take your business elsewhere.

They both have an excellent working ability to maintain attention to the details, and both have passion for helping others. It has free FAX, free long distance, FREE copying, FREE help with resumes, free and sometimes obligated work search and counseling... trust UI to get you into some strange situations.. BUT it does get you off your butt and into a job search mode even if to get out from under their scrutiny. I was an almost a staff.. probably glad about the almost as it does have artificial lights, but I learned a lot from talking to the job counselors.. sometimes that I knew more than they did, but each learning is more to know.

I was shown a video about how to fill out pay forms. I was getting hired. I was asked to fill out a stack of forms, including a VOLUNTARY form, poorly copied with an OK for a private investigative firm to research my life in any way desired, including talking to friends, neighbors, checking my usual places of business by a firm located in another city ( uhh Prosser-yikes small town mentality) . I simply did not like the feeling of it. My life is pretty open, straight forward - I go to libraries, teach, look for health food, go to gyms, but I did not like the tone of the form. (I had worked with different temp agencies in Seattle and not had this presented to me.) I discussed this with the staff. I was reminded that I did not need to sign it and told that they really didn't use the service anyway. I said,"ok" and didn't sign it. Then I was told that I didn't qualify for any jobs because I chose to not sign a voluntary form. They would not use me for any work! STINKS

I…read morehad really bad experiences with Craigslist so I asked them to send me someone whom they felt I could trust. As a woman alone in a storage locker, I wanted to feel safe with this person. They sent me a homeless man who needed 100% supervision. I tried them again and scheduled 2 men and they proceeded to put a hold of $1230 from my bank account even though the day for the work was 3 days away. At no time was the total amount going to exceed half that amount and they held my bank account hostage while they put it on hold. The reason they gave me was that they put it on hold in case the work extends past the hours I scheduled and they were afraid that I might not have the money because other clients had not paid them. I had no history of not paying them but I am lumped in with clients who had. At no time would they take accountability for the wrong of putting $1230 on hold and only made excuses. I cancelled both the help scheduled and told them to un-hold my money. If they do not I will report them to the Chamber of Commerce, the BBB, and the police for theft.
