I had to go to another doctor and pay $40 to get an antibiotic that worked without making me sick. Now MS is charging me an extra $25. my pain was extreme.

He was the only doctor in the Birmingham area who was willing to refill my implanted pain pump. Before finding him, I had to drive to Slidell, LA every month to have it filled. He and his staff work together as a team. It is comforting to see teamwork in one's medical care. They are also very good at what they do, and each one plays a part in your care. I have suffered from hip and thigh pain since I had a defective hip replaced with a non-defective one. I thought that the pain was caused by all the surgery. Thank goodness Dr. Varley had other impressions. He discovered that the pain was emanating from my spine and that Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) was the solution. I had been having it performed on the other side of my spine for several years, with good results. Walking without pain is truly amazing, after suffering with it for so many years. One of my children poked my eye & it's happened before so I was pretty sure I knew what I needed. I was offered more tests but Nurse Practitioner was also pretty sure about same treatment that I thought I needed.
