The receptionist was nasty and rude. She immediately began to tell me I would have to pay if she couldn't verify my insurance. I attempted to explain the order had been placed and should include my insurance information. Once she verified I had Cigna insurance she still asked me to retrieve my debit card for a swipe just in case all the tests weren't covered. I was the only person asked to provide a debit card and the only African American . I have NEVER had to pay for this. It felt like over kill and several people were assisted who came after me without appointments. I had to wait an hour with order papers in hand. The phlebotomist was excellent, but the receptionist was awful and needs remedial training in basic customer service. read more

As a healthcare professional, this establishment's approach to caring is subpar at best. From the entry, signage is unclear that check in for appointments isn't just for appointments. The kiosk is for all matters (including same day referrals from other physicians within the plaza). While waiting to check in, the receptionist clearly didn't have any regard for HIPPA as she discussed openly other patient status from the desk while I waited to be addressed. Only after she terminated the call, she rudely advised that I had to check in via kiosk. The technician in the back consistently yelled at people there for simple urinalysis screenings. The lobby is filthy. The technician's "bedside manner" is nonexistent. And, clearly this is their normal based on other reviews. I declined service, for multiple reasons. But, I'm not interested in paying for mediocre service or attitudes. read more

I had the worst experience at the Labcorp that was located near Trident Tech Hodpital. I made an appt online 3 weeks in advance. I got an email the day of reminding me of my appointment time. I show up at my appointment to discovered that this location had closed down for good a week earlier. No one bothered to reach out to inform me. I had to wait hr for another labcorp location to reopen after their lunch break and drive 20 minutes to that location. I am glad that I had taken the rest of the day off from work and didn't try to fit in the visit during my lunch break. Geeez read more

I've had my labs drawn twice there now, and I will find another lab from now on. I was not asked for ID. I was not asked to verify my correct name and birth date were labeled on my tubes. I'm an easy stick, but was left very bruised not necessary ... I know , I'm an RN. And the worst part is the unclean bathroom you are asked to use to give urine samples. (This is twice I've had to use a bathroom with urine on the floor). It is Urine because all the faucets are taped off, due to drug screening.. so it's not water. And I'd like to add my appt was at 8 am, so filthy that early in the day? I couldn't wait to get home and take a shower . My first experience here was just as bad. The lab tech was rushing way too much with sharps, and stuck me brutally... and the bathroom floor had wet spots of urine all over it that time also. I sure hope my labs were labeled correctly... all my meds are based on these labs.. no way to tell, since I wasn't asked to verify with ID and shown my tubes with my name and birth date on them! Quest in Summerville is way cleaner and follows proper protocols... but unfortunately my provider switched to Lab Corp... * update... blood draw on Tuesday.. now what my arm looks like on Friday .. total nonsense ... notice ac visible and palpable without tourniquet... no rolling veins... no people waiting in waiting room. 2 techs visible. These ladies are so freaking rude, man. Lunch hours are 12:30-1:30. I got there right after 12 and as I'm saying hey they're like, "NOPE, closed. Come back at 1:30." So I sit outside for over an hour and a half. I'm waiting at the door when the last one comes back and she lets the door close in my face as I'm trying to catch it. Then she's on her cell phone as I'm asking questions, completely ignoring me. I could go on and on after that but I don't know who even looks at reviews of a urine test facility. This facility was dirty, and in a state of disrepair. I went here for a urine test, and waited an hour just to be called. I understand the appointment/walk-in situation, but an hour just to pee in a cup is absurd. The urine cups were paper cups that were not sealed, and were loose in a cabinet. Based on the cleanliness alone, if I were going in for a blood draw, I would have immediately left. read more

Why the bad reviews??? I was so so about coming here but I had to get my labs done and my insurance covers it here at labcorp. I grudgingly made online appointment. Easy peazy. When I got there I checked my email follow the instructions and checked in online and chose to wait in my car... because of the bad reviews. Didn't want to deal with any mean people. Two minutes I get the text my technician was ready for me. I walked in and out in ten minutes. Gina was nice didn't hurt me drawing my blood. The staff was joking and very friendly. I told her she was the bomb.com and I was leaving a review of my experience. So I really think if you're kind they will kind. People like to be treated kindly. I treated them kindly and friendly. My daughter was turned away and told that drug screenings cannot be performed after 3:15 even though she had an appointment setup through the portal for 3:30 and checked in at 3:16. When I tried to ask if the other location that we were referred to would be able to do the screening as it was now 3:30, I was cut off and spoken to very rudely. The desk attendant, raised her voice and said " I was not here ma'am and I have no idea who your daughter is". Then she demanded my daughter's name and said,"we can do the test, but if she can't urinate with 4 minutes she has to wait 3 hours to try again!" To make things worse, they kept talking about how I "yelled at them" the whole time my daughter was with them. Extremely unprofessional. I walked in the door for a "pre employment" drug screening and I could not have been treated more poorly without swearing at me. She was helping another "customer" so i was going to check in on the iPad. She immediately said "what are you doing??" So i explained. She told me they do not do drug tests there? When I have a piece of paper with a time and address. The woman out front refused to look at my "passport" or let me check in, and then raised her voice at me to give me a list of other places to go. She had another "customer" hand me the list. The company made the appointment for me and already prepaid for it. All I have to say is it was my first and last time ever going to this location. I always go here to do my drug test when needed. I'm always greeted by they young lady who is always working. No matter how short staffed they were, she always was pleasant. Today she was off because I asked for her. Anyway, the person who called me back today was so awful. Very rude, she didn't ask to see the paper work or anything. I went to the LAbcorp in Summerville, SC on Harth. They are severely understaffed and their boss needs to hire a couple more people since being short staffed actually makes them lose $$$. The woman I dealt with was so amazing, even under all that pressure. Two people total, working. A waiting room full of people yet she was kind, friendly, amazing Five stars for sure. I needed to do a test for a new job and I chose this location because my kids had a dentist appointment a block away. Had I known the kind of service I would receive at this location, I would have gone out of my way to go to a different location. The service is awful. The young lady who was my technician never greeted me and never really made eye contact the entire time we had to interact with each other. If she spoke to me, she looked at the paperwork she was filling out only and she didn't speak loud enough to be heard properly. If she needed to show me where to go, she used hand gestures without words. At one point she told me I needed to sign some paperwork, but never gave me a pen to do it with, but thankfully, I carry a pen in my purse. Clearly she has to interact with people all day. If you hate it so much, find another place to work. According to my paperwork, her name is Regina. One other thing, this location is disgusting. The waiting room is far from friendly. It does not feel warm or cozy like a doctor's office might feel. It feels dark and gloomy, with the exception of the sunlight coming in through the glass of the door and windows. The bathroom you have to use to do the drug screen is not cleaned well. I was so grossed out when I walked into the bathroom. They're lucky I didn't vomit in there.
