    Located on the 3rd floor, suite 300. The woman at the front desk lacks people skills and was unprofessional. After checking in at the kiosk which several elderly people struggled to use, one must wait to be called. I waited about 10 minutes after the kiosk check in. I provided my lab forms and she commented about the provider and date. She said go to the back. I entered the door and was told to go to a room number. Patients were peeking in rooms because only the phlebotomist was back there and they were as clueless as I was. She was very nice and kind. The blood draw pain free with a little bruising (my norm). The front desk clerk clearly has some issues working with the public. It was like she hates her job and dislikes helping others. I have yet to go to a lab where the staff is friendly, compassionate, and professional. I'll try the Hospital Drive location, hopefully, it will be a better experience. Ample sized parking lot, but it is constantly busy, so be careful. Exiting the lot going north is difficult, especially during peak times. Non-stop flow of fast traffic.

    I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my experience at one of your locations during a…read morescheduled pediatric appointment for my one-year-old child. I have visited this location before for my own lab work and previously noticed the front desk employee had poor customer service skills, but I chose not to say anything at that time. However, during my most recent visit, her behavior was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. When I was called to the window, she asked for the doctor's name, which I provided. She then began working on the computer and mentioned an estimated charge, which I was prepared to pay. I explained that I did not have the physical copy of the lab order paperwork and politely asked whether she was able to pull it up electronically. In a rude, condescending tone, she responded, "That's what this is for. Where do you think I got the estimate from?" Her response was unnecessarily disrespectful and unprofessional. I simply asked a reasonable question because she had not explained what she was doing. I told her that there was no need to be rude. Another customer present also commented that her attitude was unnecessary. After the interaction, she also loudly vented about "what's wrong with people today," which was inappropriate and unprofessional in a customer-facing setting. It seemed she failed to recognize that the issue was not the customers, but her own rude and disrespectful behavior. People should not be expected to tolerate being spoken to in that manner. The lab technician who assisted afterward was kind and professional, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the front desk interaction overshadowed the visit. It costs nothing to be kind and courteous, especially when working directly with the public and families bringing in young children. This employee's demeanor reflects poorly on your organization. I will not be returning to that location because I should not have to deal with disrespectful treatment. I ask that this matter be formally reviewed and that appropriate customer service training or corrective action be taken. Thank you for your time and attention. Others, beware.

Directions to the…read morelocation in the building were great, the check-in process was easy, and once I arrived it took only a few minutes to be called back. The phlebotomist was AMAZING. I have small veins, so I'm used to people fishing or not believing that a butterfly needle is the best approach. She took her time to find the vein, grabbed the butterfly needle without me sharing and on shot number 1, got it. She was humble about it, but I was so grateful to not be a pin cushion. Also when I was in the empty waiting area for my Access ride, which was late, your Wexford office manager said I waited long enough in the empty waiting room & demanded that I leave. I will be contacting a lawyer as Quest may have violated ADA laws as I cant stand long outside, with rain threatening, as I have back problems and need to sit. In addition, one of my sample vials became corrupted. Then today I called Quest where they said a fax order was received on 3/27, but that the office only considers orders which are sent electronically. This is true, as I asked in person several times if they received this order &they said they havent. I find the Wexford Quest to be incompetent, on the above 3 problems, and cruel for wanting me to stand outside.
