If I could give this place a zero, I would. I was in kind of urgent need of a test to be done, and this location was one of the few labs open at the time. Unfortunately, when I arrived, not only was it extremely hard to even find (no signs on any building, and minimal wayfinding inside), but there was a sign on the locked door of the Labcorp. It claimed that they were only doing appointments that day. I knocked anyway, in the hopes that maybe they'd still help. When someone finally did come to the door, they weren't particularly kind. They said that they personally decided to only take appointments today. I asked if there was any way to check if that is the case online before driving way out to this place again. They replied "no", said goodbye, and closed the door. If you are in urgent need to get some sort of test done for a medical situation, probably try to find somewhere else. Or, if time permits in your situation, get an appointment and see how that goes. Who knows, they might actually help you out. read more

I am not necessarily afraid of needles, but the people who handle them. My veins can be small and roll at times and I have had many stick me multiple times times and move it around under the skin with no results. But Twaneshia was amazing, got it on the first try, talked me through what was going on, and have a beautiful spirit! So appreciative of her! South side Labcorp location - Ample parking with several handicap spaces - Located on the Southern Regional Medical Campus in building 81 - Limited hours but they are open on Saturday from 8am - 12pm - Drug testing ends at 4pm but your probably want to be there by 3:30pm - I arrived at 4:05pm for a blood test and was met with some attitude, they close at 4:30pm M - F. I ordered blood testing online from HealthLabs.com because my iron was low during my previous PCP visit and I wanted to see if the iron pills were working. Doing so was cheaper and easier than going thru my PCP. Most of my Healthcare needs at met at Emory Midtown and they do have a LabCorp location there but I did not want to deal with parking so I headed south to this location. It's pretty shabby compared to the LabCorp locations on the Northside but such is life in ATL. The nurse did change her tune and was pleasant when drawing my blood which she did very easily with no pain. I've been here several times and will be back because it's easy to get to and there is easy, ample parking. I do wish they would upgrade the facility but am not anticipating that they will anytime soon. read more

Staff disorganized with Faxed Authorization Form; a repeated pattern- never can find Faxed form and shift blame to Dr. Office while I'm caught in the middle Frustrated because I can't be seen without the form. Front office Staff is brutal verbally, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually by giving nasty push back yet can't take it when you push back at them. Horrible attitude- I don't see your form, here's the Fax number with an ugly tone and disgusting body language ! Nice location. Clean, quick and friendly staff members at this location. They are usually open Mon - Sat and some Holidays as well. If you go online you can actually get processed at the front desk quicker. Also don't let the online scheduling fool you. If you are there earlier than your appointment time and no one else is there then they will take you at that time. I would suggest that you call them to find out if you need to follow any specific instructions, like do NOT Eat after Midnight. Having this knowledge would have helped me avoid the drive on many previous occasions to only be told to come back another day. But this time I knew better. I had an appointment at 12:30am for a drug test ( takes 2 mins) i have been to this place before they are never this slow. I checked in etc. since the pandemic it was a sign on the door that said you had to check in & wait in your car or waiting lobby. I waited in the car. They were supposed to send a text. Never got that an hour went by still nothing. I went in to see what was the wait. Mind you when I got there it was literally no one in there. So im complaining at this point I had to check in 3x and didnt leave until 2:15 thats 2 hours that went by. This by far the worst LabCorp I have ever seen. I cant even remember the lady name but she was very rude and unprofessional with with me and other clients. She was also rushing because it was almost time for them to go to lunch and they didn't want to be held back. She even told a man to sit down the she snatch his papers out of his hand because she was in a rush. Now I know that they all have to be trained on children and sometime they may have to hold them you know to collect blood. In this case my child was there to see what she was allergic to. My child only needed one more tube and she told me no because she was crying to much and that my child was to strong for her to hold and that I'm going to have to come back another time and told the other worker to throw away the 2 tubes that she already collected away....WHAT? My child will be the same was so what going to be any different. Are you going to just keep sending me away because they don't know how to do there job. This is not fair. The Riverdale Labcorp staff ROCK! Today while visiting this facility I personally observed a staff that was the epitome of professional caring individuals. Every customer that came in their facility were treated with respect and the staff did their best to support and ensure that their needs were met. I know this is supposed to be what companies deliver, but very rarely do you see an entire staff that works in concert to this end goal. I highly recommend this office. I have been using this location for around 10 years, but it has gone way down in customer service. Three days ago I had to cancel an appointment due to unforeseen problems. I go regularly for at least three doctors so I am a regular patient and visit at a constant time. My doctors will send a message to the location for the day they need me to have blood drawn. I have tried five times since Tuesday, today is Friday, to talk to someone on the phone, but only get a response they are busy and will return my call shortly. I wanted to know if they kept my test order for several days on their computers or just delete it if not used on that specific day. I have been unable to get a call back in the four days. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES HANDLING CUSTOMERS CONCERNS OR DO CALLBACKS. I would suggest trying Quest across the parking lot from Labcorp on the ground floor. My wife was told to use them by her doctor two weeks ago. They were very professional and efficient appearing to have everything in order. I am deciding to try the appointments I now have for Labcorp but may consider Quest in the future. PS... for the past year since COVID I have yet to have even my temperature checked while at this Labcorp location. read more

If I could give this office a negative star I would. This is the definition of being unprofessional in the work place. The "techs" if that is what you want to generously call them, has conversations about their personal issues while standing in front of the window, they did not acknowledge patients they simply continued to talk! They left the window unattended for extended periods of time, and the wait IS absolutely RIDICULOUS! If the employees would actually do their job, maybe just maybe the wait would not take all day. Worst blood testing ever! Women was not able to get computer to work. Another person signed her in. Then she was not able to check my wife in. Had to get someone else to do that. Next she was not able to draw blood from either arm, BUT was able to make my wife cry in pain, pushing and pulling the needle in and out to find the vein. Was going to do a third stick when I told her NO, protocol is to get another person. Scott came to do it. We have have Scott pull blood many times over the past 3 years. He is a gift! The facility is clean; however, the technicians are extremely slow and are not considerate of peoples' time. Currently, there are over 11 people waiting to be seen and only one technician is actually working. Furthermore, the staff is unprofessional-cursing, talking loud, and on cell phones while working.
