I brought in my most recent test results and he suggested a colonoscopy as a first step. What I didn't know was that was the only step. After receiving a good report on the colonoscopy (which was the most unpleasant to date. I've had several) I ask what was the next step in the investigation. His only idea was for me to take Psyllium twice a day. That was it. Investigation over. I was puppy milled for the insurance money he could get from my policy for performing a colonoscopy . They told me I would not remember anything about the unpleasant procedure but I do and I don't think I'll forget it any time soon. He had no interest beyond that. Investigation over. A huge waste of my time.

This is a relatively new satellite office for Grady Hospital. It's located off Lee Street in the…read moreWest End. Honestly I never knew this plaza was in this neighborhood. Once you turn into the parking lot turn left and look to the right. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a hello and a pleasant smile. There were 3 staff members there waiting to assist customers. They also have security at the door. The attendant asked if i had an appointment. I advised I had two appointments that day. She checked me in for the first one and advised me she would check me in for the second one after the first visit was completed. She did just that. I didn't have to remind her because she found me in the waiting area. The waiting area has plenty of comfortable seating and to my surprise there was phone charging stations. There is also a pharmacy towards the back of the lobby. I had an awesome experience with Dr Schenkel and Dr Redmond. They both have excellent bedside manner and were attentive when listening to me and my needs. They were thorough in their care. Grady has done so much for putting this outpatient office in this community and the new South Fulton facility coming soon in Union City. Give these folks a try. They will take good care of your needs.
