It's very organized and there's a helpful electronic dashboard on the TV that lists your name and expected wait time. I was seen promptly and each individual phlebotomist is able to check you in in their individual room. The phlebotomist who worked with me today was excellent and I barely felt a thing. I've been fortunate as that's been my experience most of the time. Is it because I've got a high pain tolerance? Maybe. They do a really good job.

I usually go to the Trappe location but this time I wanted to go to the Royersford location. I arrived in time for what I thought was my appointment and was told I was in the wrong place and that they didn't have time for me because they were closing soon. The gentleman was very friendly and nice about it and we even had a bit a laugh about it. He told me that I could come back today (Saturday) anytime between 7 and 11 and that HE would take care of me. Quest does prefer appointments but will fit in walk-ins if possible. I know this because I've done something like this before. AND their kiosk allows one to sign in as a walk-in. I returned this morning at 9:45. There was no one else in the waiting room. Karen (that is her name) was not welcoming at all. Her body language, her facial expression, her tone of voice let me know that she was not happy about my being there. And she said, "I will squeeze you in over here." Squeeze me in? There's no one here! The place does accommodate walk-ins! She then went to inform me that Quest is an "appointment based facility" and handed me a card. I said that I knew that already but that I was turned away yesterday and told to come back today anytime between 7 and 11. She argued with me the whole time and told me I was rude. I well NEVER go back to this facility even though it is next to my favorite chocolatier. I will go back to the Trappe location because those people are warm and welcoming!

I was promptly seen by a staff within minutes of arriving. He then took me to one of the rooms to have my blood drawn. I was impressed that he was able to pull up the name of my provider who had recommended the blood work without me providing any additional information beyond what I had provided at check-in. The whole process of confirming my information, having my blood drawn, and taking a urine sample, took me less than 15 minutes and I was out of the facility by 10:15 a.m. (I also noticed that another young girl in an adjoining room got processed just about as quickly.) What was also impressive to me is that my test results were available the very next morning less than 24 hours after my blood being drawn a day earlier. All in all, I am very impressed with the promptness and efficiency of the people at this facility.

This place has "SHADY BILLING". Be very careful. Went in for a routine physical, Nurse practician…read more(Melissa) went over my blood results with me, as they would not refill my thyroid meds without a blood test and physical. So, they asked me the normal questions, DOB, NAME, ADDRESS, basically reassured what they had in their database. Then she went over my blood work, giving me details on the numbers and findings. I soon left afterwards. I get an invoice some weeks later for 45.00. I called my insurance company and asked if my yearly physical was covered, they said yes. As they dug deeper, they said it appears it was for a second visit. I said I didn't see them again only once. They said do you mind if I call them, which they did while I was on hold. They told them we spoke about my Thyroid. So, they charged me a second visit. I went to this appt for my physical and to discuss my blood work which one of the panels was for my thyroid. I called the office numerous times, asking for Melissa, said she was busy and would call me back between patients, never got called back, spoke to Billing they were as useless as a horn on an airplane. Round and round we go. I know it's only 45.00 but you times that by the hundreds of patients they see and that adds up $$$$$..BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE...
