It's very organized and there's a helpful electronic dashboard on the TV that lists your name and expected wait time. I was seen promptly and each individual phlebotomist is able to check you in in their individual room. The phlebotomist who worked with me today was excellent and I barely felt a thing. I've been fortunate as that's been my experience most of the time. Is it because I've got a high pain tolerance? Maybe. They do a really good job.

I was told it was probably a sinus infection, but everyone around me got sick afterward. I took my children to a different urgent care later in the week, they did a full and thorough exam, which made the lack of care here really stand out.

The time in 2020 was wonderful - the people were nice, everything went well, and I got better. I even recommended it to a few friends. Fast forward to this year. My visit in January went well, I was seen and treated, and a prescription was sent over to the pharmacy. While I did end up waiting a bit after my appointment time, it was nothing super major. The bad & ugly: After my visit in January, I received my bill post-insurance. Before I even received the paper bill, I received a text message and phone call requesting payment. The voicemail didn't even tell me who they were, just that they were from the "billing department." Immediately upon receiving the statement in the mail (on Feb. 21), I submitted it to my HSA (Health Savings Account) for payment which can take up to 30 days for the payment to clear. In those 30 days, I received a second physical bill in the mail and an additional text message and 2 phone calls. I called and told them that the payment was in the mail. After yet another physical bill two weeks ago, I called and sent them proof of payment from the HSA (HSA confirmed the check cleared on March 13). Then, another two weeks go by, and I receive yet another bill on Apr. 15, this time labeled "Final Statement Before Further Action." The redemption: At this point, I was clearly frustrated and annoyed. So, I left a negative review here. The next day, I heard from the office manager wanting to call and talk to me by phone. I sent him the proof of payment and told him when he could call. During the phone call, he apologized about the issue I was having and said that he would track down the missing payment. By the end of the day, he had found the deposited check. And, finally, my outstanding balance was resolved. In summary (TL;DR): I thought the staff at the office were nice, personable, and helpful. They definitely helped me out when I was pretty sick and needed to be seen as soon as possible. However, billing leaves much to be desired. My hope is that my experience is a one-time and not a systemic problem. Only time will tell.

I usually go to the Trappe location but this time I wanted to go to the Royersford location. I arrived in time for what I thought was my appointment and was told I was in the wrong place and that they didn't have time for me because they were closing soon. The gentleman was very friendly and nice about it and we even had a bit a laugh about it. He told me that I could come back today (Saturday) anytime between 7 and 11 and that HE would take care of me. Quest does prefer appointments but will fit in walk-ins if possible. I know this because I've done something like this before. AND their kiosk allows one to sign in as a walk-in. I returned this morning at 9:45. There was no one else in the waiting room. Karen (that is her name) was not welcoming at all. Her body language, her facial expression, her tone of voice let me know that she was not happy about my being there. And she said, "I will squeeze you in over here." Squeeze me in? There's no one here! The place does accommodate walk-ins! She then went to inform me that Quest is an "appointment based facility" and handed me a card. I said that I knew that already but that I was turned away yesterday and told to come back today anytime between 7 and 11. She argued with me the whole time and told me I was rude. I well NEVER go back to this facility even though it is next to my favorite chocolatier. I will go back to the Trappe location because those people are warm and welcoming!

I was promptly seen by a staff within minutes of arriving. He then took me to one of the rooms to have my blood drawn. I was impressed that he was able to pull up the name of my provider who had recommended the blood work without me providing any additional information beyond what I had provided at check-in. The whole process of confirming my information, having my blood drawn, and taking a urine sample, took me less than 15 minutes and I was out of the facility by 10:15 a.m. (I also noticed that another young girl in an adjoining room got processed just about as quickly.) What was also impressive to me is that my test results were available the very next morning less than 24 hours after my blood being drawn a day earlier. All in all, I am very impressed with the promptness and efficiency of the people at this facility.
