I scheduled a blood draw 3 months ago, for 7 am. They called at 6:40 and said they were out of power, to go to their Schwenksville location. I drove straight there and got there a little after 7 and checked in. The techs were just getting there too, they also came from Collegeville. I was in and out in 10 minutes, no pain on the blood draw. So impressive how they pivoted and handled it. Thanks! read more

Have gone here before and recently took my baby in. Steve and another Asian female technician took care of my baby. Steve processed the registration and the female technician did the blood draw. Got blood on the first try. She smiled and interacted with my baby during registration so I think that helped. Baby still cried during blood draw but then stopped when they were done. We were done in minutes and I am so relieved it was not a traumatic experience for my baby. **Make sure you check in at the kiosk. I haven't been here in a while and totally did not realize you had to check in at the kiosk first and not at the window.** read more

My 9-year old boy needed some blood work and for insurance reasons, we had to go to LabCorp. Fortunately, once just recently opened up in our area in the new little "shopping" center between TD Bank and Wawa on Route 29. My navigation was having a hard time finding it, so pulled over to call them so that I could find out exactly where they were located. The auto-attendant gave me no option to talk to a live person, which immediately frustrated me. I did eventually figure out that if you just sit on the phone and don't press any buttons, it will eventually route you to a person. It really annoys me when you get an a auto-attendant and there isn't a clear option to exit out and speak to a live person! Once I finally arrived, you are greeted with a big room with a bunch of chairs lined up in a row facing a TV on the wall. It felt like I needed to find one of those "take a number" stations, but you do simply go to the front of the room and sign-in. Once again, no actual person at the "reception" area. At some point, you are called back. They take reservations (made mine online) or you can just walk-in. I had an 8:30 reservation and was called back at around 8:45. I had provided a lot of my info online like names, birthdays, insurance info, etc. The guy asked if I had filled out this piece paper, which I said no, but then when I looked at it, it appeared to be asking pretty much the same info as what I supplied online. So I did tell him that I entered all of this when online when I made my appointment, and his response was "I wouldn't have asked you to fill it out if I didn't need it". Well, alrighty then. I can tell someone must have been in a mood. Another 10 minutes or so go by doing paperwork and scanning insurance cards and then he directs us to a particular room to have the blood work done. My 9-year old was nervous, so immediately began freaking out. Let's just say the technician (which was the same guy who checked me in and gave me attitude earlier) did not seemed pleased. He then directed us to another room, where there was a bigger chair so that I could sit down while my son sat on my lap. Unfortunately, this didn't help calm him down much. We did finally get thru the procedure, but I'll just say that this wasn't the most kid friendly place. Once we were done, I asked if I could get the results online, as I saw references to retrieving your results online when I was initially setting up the appointment. The guy tells me he's not sure if that's even working. So then I ask if the results could be mailed or faxed to me, and he said "Well, I wish you would have told me that earlier as I would now have to re-do the whole order." I said don't bother--I'll get a copy from my pediatrician. So all in all, not a great experience. If I had another choice in where I could bring my kids, I wouldn't return here. For adults, it's probably fine, but the overall poor customer service here left a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

The staff here is so friendly! I've left other labcorp offices that were closer to my home just so I can have a pleasant experience with labcorp (other locations can have awful customer service) all of the techs are sweet and take care to make the blood work as painless as possible read more

I moved here from Iowa and was not accustomed to getting my blood tests anywhere but at the hospital. Then since I live in Phoenixville I went to that LabCorp. I have avoided getting tests ran in the last 2 years, because of my experiences at that facility and assumed all LabCorps are alike. NOPE! Where is the customer service in this place. I walk in to a elderly couple doing their best to sign in on the "self service " sign in machine. There is a man sitting beside the desk who was well aware that they were having difficulties using the machine. He absolutely would not budge. I offered to help them when I was done. They scream your name from behind the wall not even from the window where you can see who's call you. Yup, same man who refused to get out of that chair was calling my name from behind the wall. He could have at the very minimum rolled the chair to the window. The lady taking my blood wasn't much better. I get anxious whenever I have to have a needle pierce my body. I can admit it's a bit annoying even to myself. I know it doesn't hurt and honestly it's never that bad but my brain reacts. She told me how children are able to take a needle. I've been here before and the service was much better. I'm all for the advancement in technology how every this is health care and we should not get so removed from people interaction and compassion for those we see. Update 6/2020 I had to have my blood drawn and I was dreading it as always. I must say what a difference in experience. I was seen by Stephan. He could tell I was anxious about the needle stick. He engaged me in conversation right away. He was able to get me talking about something impossible to me (my job) and before I knew it...DONE!! I honestly can not tell you how good it felt to be treated with empathy and not ridiculed for having a fear. Thank you Stephan for you compassions and care. I usually go to this location, very quick and dont have to wait too long. Mario Resto helped me couple times and he is very nice and good. He is very gentle, I never got bruising after he draw blood from me compared to other people who worked there especially the women they are not happy people and not gentle at all. But Mario is very good Phlebotomist. Highly recommend him. read more

This particular location has a staff member named Mario. Now this guy by 8am was just angry. Another customer and that's what I am Mario your customer, was also arguing with dear Mario. I'm not the only customer to encounter this behavior. I have never nor a client of mine been treated so rudely with so much disrespect. This man couldn't give me a glove to touch urine with, couldn't open a door for someone in a wheelchair, couldn't assist to move a chairs around so we could keep 6' distance even though at every interval he kept reminding me of it. I'm yes Mario I get that but I can't move wheelchairs in that right space so whatever space is open is where we have to park. Absolutely zero assistance for disabled people and for every question I had. Do you provide hats for catching urine? No. Can I have a glove? No. Can you check again for the order? Went with 2 scripts for routine bloodwork. With a badly injured ankle, mobility is a real issue for me. After leaving the office, I had to go back because something was missed. My husband had to leave work for a 2nd time to take me back for more blood. Now my surgery is tomorrow, and they're telling my surgeon that my bloodwork was lost and may not be processed in time. I just called and was told there was an issue with the blood and it was rejected. No one has any idea what is going on and my ankle repair surgery may not be happening because of all this confusion. There are very few Labcorps that actually satisfy my expectations of quality service. The location in Collegeville, has an address to a road that also exists on the other side of town. Instead of 2nd Ave it should say South Collegeville Road- Just like the neighboring Wawa is addressed. There are too many occasions when I have gone to get labs done at the Egypt Road location that the wait to register takes forever and not because the staff are busy, they are chit-chatting about someone not showing up. You could have been registering everyone in the wait room this past 20 minutes. On other ocassions- staff are in the back for extended periods of time...I was coming to the conclusion that they took an early lunch. Very few instances were I ex[perience kindness and professionalism at labcorp anymore. The office in East Norriton was my favorite but that seems to be hit or miss these days as well. I don't want to make any personal attacks on the staff but perhaps its trickling down from the top. Customer Serivce labcorp....you don't have terrible jobs. or deal with awful people. Next time someone complains about the DMV, tell them to go to Labcorp. read more
