I started out at Drop Zone and had the best experience possible at a testing facility. I have since moved and started at JAMS, what a horrible mistake that was. I truly consider driving 10 miles in the opposite direction to go back to Drop Zone because there you are actually dealing with intellectual adults (JAMS is just power hungry, ignorant young people).

I'm already not in an ideal situation obviously, so I'm sorry if I made your JOB harder behind the counter. I would advise locating a different testing place if you are able. I have walked into multiple and they have all been 100x more caring than this place. Do better, and realize that we are all humans at the end of the day and deserve to be treated as such. Treating people the way you do is disgusting. Find God.

My pharmacy needed more information today in order to fill my script but the physician, Lauren (who was wonderful), was not in today and wouldn't be until tomorrow. Knowing that I had run out the staff at IEP Novi went back and forth with me and my pharmacy to ensure I had my prescription today as it's essential to my health. In addition to going above and beyond to make sure my medical needs were met, the entire staff was super happy and genuinely gave off the vibe that they love helping others. If you are looking for an urgent care or need a medication filled until your next doctors appointment like me, I 10000% recommend this urgent care!

Due to some planned renovations in the basement we knew we needed the material abated. Marcus and Jeff at Advanced Enviro Clean were great to work with from start to finish. They explained the abatement process in detail, answered all our nervous homeowner questions, and completed the project in a timely manner. I appreciated their straightforward approach and evidence based guidance on the risks with asbestos. I would absolutely use them again and have already recommended them to some friends and neighbors with similar concerns in their homes regarding asbestos.

Outstanding care: Seen as a person first, not a diagnosis…read more I am the care manager for a 92-year-old woman with advanced Alzheimer's and dementia, and today we had an appointment with Dr. Christine at Avalon Primary Caree that went far beyond anything we expected. Healthcare settings can be overwhelming for patients in her condition, but this visit felt calm, respectful, and truly productive. In just one appointment, we achieved more than we have in multiple visits over the last four years with previous primary care, cardiology, and neurology providers. Dr. Shina addressed every concern, including things we did not even know to ask about, and introduced us to services and resources that will immediately improve her quality of life. I arrived with a long list of questions, and every single one was answered thoughtfully. Many doctors become dismissive if you do not use the right medical terms, but that never happened here. Dr. Shina encouraged questions and made sure nothing was left unclear. We left feeling fully informed and supported. What stood out most was her bedside manner. She spoke directly to the patient, looked her in the eyes, asked how she was feeling, and treated her with dignity and compassion. That combination of knowledge, patience, empathy, and genuine concern is rare and it made all the difference. The office was easy to find, clean and spacious. The staff was helpful and efficient. Lyndsey, the MA deserves special recognition for making the entire experience even better. We left with referrals, a care plan and real hope. I believe every patient deserves the level of care we received, though it is difficult to find today. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Shina and Avalon Primary Care. Thanks again!

I see NP Bre'Ana Strong, and she has been nothing but caring, kind, understanding, and patient with me (qualities that I think can be incredibly rare/uncommon in the medical field, especially when it comes to primary care.) She went above and beyond at my last visit to make sure both a physical and mental health care need were taken care of - and she didn't rush me or make me feel like a burden. I couldn't believe this office only had a one star rating on yelp, I had to come here to fix it. The nurses here are also super friendly and welcoming (very important when you're dealing with health stuff, IMO!) and the receptionists were kind and welcoming too. I don't even necessarily expect that, but these folks bring it. Thanks, Avalon team!
