Normally they are very efficient at Mount Sinai but not today. Today there is a phebotentist playing around with a full waiting room that only has 4 chairs and no automatic door! How come? This location does a banger business so why not some patient area and an automatic door for wheelchairs, walkers/canes and other disabled. And why is goofing off phebotenist okay? Do not get your blood draw done here. I gave my paperwork to one of the staff and he gave it to his colleague. I thought I had resolved my small balance of 33. 43; however, it still needed to be paid. The man yelled so loud, you have a outstanding balance, how would you like to pay? Then proceeded to come from behind the plexi glass/desk to collect my card. He was too close in my personal space and obnoxious. You would've thought his last name was Labcorp. I told the man who initially took my paperwork that the man who processed my payment was not going to touch me. If I had time to go elsewhere for my labs, I would have! Never again! read more

This is probably my favorite LabCorp. I know it sounds cheesy but I'm so serious. The staff were very friendly and professional, it was clean, the wait was short... everything was just perfect! I seriously have no complaints, I think I'd go to this one any day. Now I've only been once so maybe I caught them at a good time? But I'll definitely try them again. read more

I walked in for my appointment and was quickly greeted by Alize Burgess. The process went incredibly quick. The facility was very clean and wiped down after every person was attended to. Alize did a wonderful job with handling my bloodwork. Alize took the time out to explain how the process of getting my results back will be and how I can check up on it as well. If I ever have to have blood drawn again I will come back to Alize. Thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

Unfortunately , Mount Sinai sold its laboratory program to LabCorp. As all my doctors are at MS, I always go there to have blood drawn so my entire team has access to the records. I went for blood work at this hospital location and SPECIFICALLY asked if the results would be uploaded into mount sinai's electronic health record and they 'YES' I asked again - using different words to assure we were all on the same page - and they "yes- your results will be integrated into Mount Sinai's computer system" Fast forward - they aren't. I now have to carry a stack of lab results around to various doctors like it's 1947 Ghetto read more

Arrived could not find my blood work ordered. After 2 hours finally I told them what to look for. Facility is filthy I could have a better experience in the common ways of my coop. Reported it to Mount Sinai Patient Services never going back. read more

I have a phobia regarding needles, therefore it is extremely difficult for me to get blood work. When I went to this location (twice, as they did not have the correct paperwork the first time I went in), they did not have the correct paperwork from the doctor. I was told by LabCorp's office staff they contacted my doctor's office, all orders were faxed in, and everything was fine. When I checked on the results only one lab had been performed, because, shockingly, they said they only received one lab request, which I had brought in on paper. This is all made up on their end. I tried to contact the office, no one picks up or returns phone calls. There is no customer advocacy phone line or any way to file a report for gross misconduct. Now I have to endure another panic attack at a different location in order to get the testing done. In my opinion this location should be placed under medical review and cited for lying to me and my doctor's office. I won't ever visit this office again. read more

The service was great and fast. I got my results the following day to find that one of the order were wrong. The doctor hand written the order for a hep B QUANTITATIVE but they administered a QUALITIATIVE. I called after and said, you guys made that mistake and was told to come back in. The only time I was able to go in was before work to get this corrected, as this was a huge inconvenience. I was also told that I wasn't going to be billed on the call and on the second visit. Behold, a month later, I received a bill stating I owed for the QUANTITATIVE test when I already paid for their mistake of doing the qualitative. Called to the billing office and they literally told me I had to call my doctor's office and have them pay when they made that mistake. I told them, "no, he hand written that order and it wasn't an electronic" I was put on hold for 25 mins so the supervisor could take a look into this. This has wasted time and energy because someone there could not read (mind you, the order was neatly written. You couldn't missed it if you tried, only if you assumed). read more

I went to Labcorp early on a Saturday morning and was extremely disappointed. They were very short-staffed and too crowded for a covid waiting room. Additionally there was no cleaning at all between patients. Pretty shocking considering they are hospital-based. Never again. read more

My experience here was absolutely outrageous! The staff was especially lazy and could not figure out how to send results to 2 physicians. More important, the person who drew my blood did not draw enough test tubes of blood and didn't know why! He thought he should do a second stick in my arm and did not tell me why. I walked out. When I called Lab Corp headquarters they told me the wrong tube was used and not enough bloods were drawn. They offered to write up the problem and email it to the head of the lab and that I would get a return phone call. That was last week, and, you are correct, no phone call. How can a hospital like Mount Sinai, in NYC, use such rude, unskilled, non caring unprofessional group of workers. read more

When Mt. Sinai did blood work, results were always loaded onto their My Chart system, allowing fast access and the ability to compare to previous results. LabCorp does not do this. This is a step backward. Why deal with a lab that doesn't provide access to Mt. Sinai doctors when it has offices in their building? read more
