I've never wanted to cry more than being told my incredible pain in my ear, is nothing. I tried to explain that whether or not it's red, I am in horrible pain. I even asked, if it's not an infection what could it possibly be, a shrug is not the answer I'm looking for. Beyond the lack of any sort of further investigation, she was super mean about it. I feel very genuinely belittled. I gave three because every other staff member besides Anita was so kind and caring. Front desk workers, the guy who did the initial. Anita, if you are seeing this, it's okay to hate your job and be overwhelmed and tired, it's NOT okay to be mean. I hope you can understand that.

They constantly disrespect the staff and clients. Almost all of the clients I had while working there, had something horrible to say about them. Management was okay when I started, got worse as time went on, as they changed and the "good" people left. That should have been my sign to just leave also. Oh and not to mention they will cut your pay, pay you $2 less than you should have per hour. Short you on hours. Allow you to be sexually harassed at work and do nothing about it. Lie to you about being exposed to covid multiple times, and when you show symptoms, say you're lying and being dramatic AND THEN take you off of the schedule because you're waiting for your covid test results, and refuse to work until it comes back because your client tested positive. While being told "no they tested negative" then changing their story once called out. I will never say I was the perfect employee, but I was a loyal one up until I had enough. Nothing I did, was enough to have the experience I have had. I could go on and on about my experience while working here, but it would end up being a book. I am now apart of the management team at a new home health agency, and I won't name any names, but they have actually made me feel like a human being. They actually cared when I let them know my step dad and sister in law passed away, and that my grandpa is on his death bed. They actually checked up on me and made sure I was okay when I had my surgery. I could never even imagine treating my staff or the client the way any of are treated at help at home. and if you are a potential client of this company, I'd honestly suggest looking else where. There are lots of other companies here in Muncie, or all over Indiana, that will genuinely care about you, and treat you well. the good thing about this company is that the receptionist is always the sweetest. She does the work of the whole company always with a smile on her face. that and most of the clients.

Our first meet went well, I came in to fill applications for my daughters to receive Respite Care. She even offered a job stating the company was hiring, so I filled out an application and waited for a response...this was Feb 4th. Today, almost a month later, I called to speak with her regarding the status of services for my daughters, please note, I had already called last week when the reception emailed Teanna while on the phone with me. Of course, NO RESPONSE!!! Now I speak with her today and this woman gave me total ATTITUDE...as if I caught her at a bad time. She wouldn't even let me talk or finish my thought. So shocked... I wondered if it was the same woman I sat down with a month ago. She then suggested I call her back with information regarding the services I was inquiring about, so I did just that. I reached out to BBH to ask what specific services is needed for my children. I then called Help at Home to provide the information. This time, the receptionist did not pick up, it was Teanna, I kid you not....the tone of her voice was frightening!! I had to ask, " is this the receptionist? Of course she replied in an arrogant tone, " this is Teanna how may I help you". What!!! I was just done with her and the company after this gesture. I told her I did not appreciate her tone because she seemed quite agitated with me for NO REASON AT ALL!! Even tried to explain to her the first time, I'm new to the state Indiana and was not familiar with the processes with respect to services. I thought she would probably loosen up a bit after I made her aware of this...but not Teanna. She seemed quite comfortable with her position, however, her intentional act today was a poor representation of the company. With that, I told Teanna to discontinue the file on my children and cancel my pending application for a job at that location. I do not want to work with people like her, and definitely could not trust this company with my children either. What a shame!!! Teanna failed to provide quality service to potential clients that contribute to her richness...typical behavior when someone gets to comfortable with their job.

Have to recently hiring this company to do a home inspection for my family, to buy my friends home, we discovered a whole box of very vintage baseball cards come up missing after the home inspector was in the house. Attempted to put a review up about the situation and the business owner instead of saying hey what's going on let's see if we can address this immediately started calling me a liar saying no no employee of mine would do that, but I have all the communications from the homeowner and the realtor who both state that these cards were stolen from the home as neither one of them had it , and they were promised to my child. Then when I email the business owner to try to address it he still continues to call me a liar instead of addressing the issue and tells me to go ahead and post reviews. So just know this man is not the type of guy you want to do business with! He will allow an employee to come into your home and steal from you and then defend the employee behind a false reputation of a business that is highly suspect now that he is attacked us the victims of a crime by one of his employees.
