Accompanied my son for bloodwork and the only positive was the wait time wasn't bad as we did not have an appointment. The setup is really bad. First the kiosk which is no problem. But you're called in for payment etc in the hallway where the patient rooms are. The really bad part is then you are lined up and made to wait in this cramped space where people are having blood drawn. Who wants to be subject to that? Most labs send you back to waiting area until a room is open. The staff were less than friendly bordering on rude. read more

Once again I was treated like cattle at this labcorp. Checkin was quick, but the woman who took my blood was cold and angry. Who wants to wake up at 7 in the morning to be treated like garbage? She didn't say hello, grabbed my paperwork and was throwing needle caps and such like she was angry at something. Why can't people just be pleasant? I don't get it. Just a simple hello and tiny bit of polite conversation. Is that too much to ask for? I'll take my blood elsewhere. read more

Copying and pasting what I sent to LabCorp when they asked for my feedback regarding my visit: The women who helped me were obviously overworked. From the moment my daughter and I arrived, they were complaining amongst themselves about their patient load that they had. First I want to say to them - I am sorry that your work conditions are so tough! I hope they get better. I do not blame them for what happened - I blame the fact that they obviously are not being given the support and team they need to be successful. Please do better Labcorp! To whatever manager sees this: please be sure to tell them I said that, and I apologize for my reaction, do not just tell them of my complaint. My 15 month old baby was very upset about being there. I was trying to console her and get her in the right position. Tech A said loudly "OK BABY"... as if that would be helpful to a crying baby who is clinging to her mother. I finally got her into position, and they were holding her arm trying to find a vein. Not one time, not one, did either of them say "it's ok baby", or do anything to distract or console her (a stark contrast to when I came two years ago with my oldest and one of the techs sang to my then 15 month old son to help comfort him. Much better experience then.). They were feeling around for a vein and having trouble finding one. One tech (I apologize if that's not the right term... not sure what is) was poking in one spot, the other poking in a different spot. Tech B said something to the tune of "I think it's here. Do you want to give it a go?" I don't remember the exact words, but it was obvious that they didn't know exactly and were just going to take a shot. I told them not to try if they weren't completely sure, and she tried to back pedal saying that's not what she said, and reworded what she said. They poked around a little more with their fingers (all while my baby is crying and squirming and shaking her head no), and then inserted the needle in the arm. Nothing happens, no blood, so it would seem they missed the vein. They start wiggling the needle a little side to side in her arm, and then ask me, "does she drink fluids?" It was at that moment that I had enough. I said "of course she does!" and demanded that they take it out of her arm. I was insulted that it seemed to me that they were trying to blame my baby (or me) for the fact that they weren't getting blood, when they clearly hadn't found a vein. The reason I think they were trying to use that as a scapegoat was because they didn't ask "has she had anything to drink this morning". It's a different question, with a different connotation. When I demanded that they take it out of her arm, they hesitated so I demanded again. They did, and put the gauze on her arm. In my hurry to leave, I accidentally knocked over the basket with the vials they were going to use (I apologize for that). I told them I was going somewhere else, they handed me my paperwork, and I stormed out. I did slam the door on my way out, and I apologize for that too. To say I was upset would be an understatement. I think this whole scenario was completely unacceptable and completely preventable. Now how am I supposed to get my baby to be comfortable with getting bloodwork done somewhere else?! They should have been more caring, they should have been less rushed, and they should NOT have stuck my very upset baby if there was any doubt in their mind that they were going to get it right. I would have respected them 100% if they said "I'm sorry, we don't see a vein, and since she's so upset, we don't want to make matters worse by trying and failing". Ok, I can work with that. But sticking her anyway, and moving it side to side in her arm?! That was not ok. I understand you guys are probably short staffed, I understand there is a high demand... but please don't forget that you are taking blood from humans, many of whom do not like needles or getting stuck. In my case I had a terrified 15 month old baby who has never had to have blood taken before. A little compassion would have gone a long way. read more

I don't like to go to this Labcorp; I have a lab closer to home that I like much better. But my doctor wanted me to specifically go to Labcorp for a certain test, because Labcorp has a better assay for it. I made an appointment, which is a must at this place in order to save yourself an hour wait. In any case, the registration person was neither friendly nor personable. I've dealt with friendlier people at the DMV. The only reason, I'm giving this place a 3 star is because the phlebotomist was accommodating and used a butterfly needle at my request. read more

Place is ok. I think the service suffers because employees are so busy, they don't take a step back to see the people they are serving and their situations. I came at 6:40 am for a 7 am opening . The line got 12 people deep by 7 am. The door opened at 7 and I was out the door by 7:12 am. It's probably better to come early than through appointment because I've had an appointment and was still waiting because it was backed up, but you still get priority. If you have children for bloodwork, expect the child to get nervous, because they aren't the nicest. read more

The WORST lab to go to.After my paperwork, I was told to take a seat down the hall. The hall was 4 ft. by 10 ft. with ONE chair that was occupied. Two rooms were off the hallway, one with a screaming baby and the other with a nurse drawing a patient's blood. Both had their doors open. Not wanting to watch or hear this I went back into the main waiting room, which is adjacent to the hall. Evidently my name was called but due to screaming babies I didn't hear. The nurse never attempted to see if I was in the waiting room, and admitted she never called me repeatedly. So there I was until I was last man standing. I guess they thought I left? Next time I'll drive to Connecticut before I use Lab Corp. One star because I had to select a rating otherwise, ZERO. read more

I scheduled my child for 7:45am appointment at the Monroe area and I arrived at 7:30am and check in and the service was quick and they were friendly and the staff name Falguni Patel was excellent. I told her this was my daughter first time getting blood work done and she was compassionate and she explained everything and my daughter was relaxed and less nervous and she spoke to my daughter while drawing blood and my daughter didn't even know that she was doing it. I would recommend her anytime doing bloodwork for me and my daughter. And we were out of there in the car at 7:40am and the appointment was 7:45am. Great job!!!!!! read more

If I could give "0" stars, I would. Walked in at 2:50 with a sample! The receptionist stated that they were closed. All of the employees were sitting behind the desk and more than one stated they were closed. All they had to do was take a bag from me. Instead they told me to take it home and put it the refrigerator and bring it back tomorrow! These people had ten more minutes left in their workday and were too lazy to take a bag and put it in their refrigerator! read more

I would avoid this LabCorp at all costs. I had an appointment at 11:30 and after calling me in a few minutes after, they told me they couldn't find my prescription. I had told them my doctor had sent it to them and I have another copy in my email. After emailing it to them, they had told me they can't find it in their email and said I must've typed the email wrong. They told me to go back out and wait in the waiting room until they could find it in the email. I waited outside for half an hour and once they called me back in they said "oh let me go check again." Finally they found multiple copies in their inbox, but the two main secretaries kept talking to each other about my prescription very loudly in front of the entire waiting room while messing up and using another patients insurance on my account. The other patient came back asking for their insurance card and the secretaries laughed while saying they are tired. They could've said "I'm sorry, it took so long and sorry for the confusion" but instead they made it a joke and spoke rudely. It was very unprofessional and a mess. While waiting I also observed how they interacted with other patients and they were extremely rude and while the waiting room was rather busy, they took their time and often checked their phones and watch. I wouldn't recommend coming here again. read more

Probably one of the worst testing facilities I have every visited. I went here because it was closer to my house then their other locations. The receptionist is very loud and obnoxious. You can just tell right away from interacting with her that she hates her job and does not want to be there. The other woman who took my insurance information was completely unfocused on what she was doing. She would ask me a question and then start talking to someone else, it was one of the rudest things I have ever seen. The phlebotomist came in the room and got the needle ready immediately. She had to poke me twice, which is not really her fault, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. The phlebotomist was the nicest person in that office, but by the time I got to her, I already felt disgruntled. Skip this lab if you can find one thats closer to your house. read more

The people at this location are terrible. You go on weekend without appointment and they will turn you away VERY rudely. As if you committed a shameful crime. However their websites do not say that taking appointments is necessary. And yes we can in around 9:30 AM on Saturday and there were less than 5 people in the waiting area. read more

I saw some negative reviews on here and was hesitant to go to this location but after my experience, I am sure that something big has changed. Their hours show 7 AM so I showed up around 6:50, along with about 6 other people. They opened the doors for us all at 6:55 and allowed us to check in right away. Everyone was very nice, and we were called in promptly and in the order of check in. The process was very quick and easy, and the entire place was very clean. I would definitely return to this location. read more

The services at this Labcorp have deteriorated. I have used it for many years and have witnessed the recent decline. Recently they have installed a self check-in portal which is easy to use, and the check-in services were very good. But the cleanliness and patient services have declined. My experience today was the worst - for drawing blood I was instructed to go into a room which looked unhygienic - empty and used vials were dumped on one corner of the floor. I have never experienced this anywhere before. The management of staff and services to handle this issue was very poor. The lab technician who was initially assigned to me was very rude. I expect more professionalism and cleanliness in such vital services. read more

This is the worst facility! I brought my toddler here for blood work not only is the staff very nasty the woman drawing the blood was borderline abusive to my daughter. She was pulling on her arm and smacking it. This is NOT how you treat a CHILD! My daughter was scared and upset to begin with and now she's flat out traumatized from the experience! My mother was also with me at the appt and witnessed how horrible they are! Not only should you not go here as an adult beware as this is NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY FACILITY! I wish negative rating was provided by yelp. Worse lab in the entire US. Staff is outright rude, have no values, are very unfriendly and unsupportive , have no manners basically shameless people. The lady on the front desk is unaware that she is in medical industry and that presence of human values is a must to operate here. The staff does not care about life of their patients but only care about their business matrix. Phlebotomist did not know what she was doing. She looked poorly trained and had terrible communication skills. She poked my husband and tried to draw blood after few mins she start rotating needle while it is still in the artery causing pain and discomfort. For people on 12 hrs fasting they do not have any juice on hand. The vending machines are empty. They don't care about whether somebody is fainting or dying. All they care of is the wait time reduction. For us it was a horrific experience. For labcorp patients are just a revenue stream and not humans. Pls do not go to this place where u can get better service than this place and paying same money. read more
