I can't believe I need to say this, but if you open at 6:30 AM, that does not mean that your employees start arriving at 6:32 AM. Management needs to get it together, because your patients are there early so THEY can get to work on time. Your employees are causing your patients to be late and it makes a lot of us feel stressed. It's despicable to see, two mornings in a row, that there is a waiting room of more than 10 people, but everyone that works there is chatting, booting up their computers, sorting through their papers casually AFTER 6:30, may I remind you... and the first patient isn't being called back until 6:40 AM. This is an issue and needs to be addressed. Your employees need to be at work by 6:15 AM to be open and ready by 6:30 AM. read more

Over an hour wait to get my blood taken. I move from waiting room to check in room back to waiting room before finally being seen. Staff is limited which isn't their fault but they should have an appointment policy so people don't waist their time. I would not recommend coming here read more

What a wonderful experience! I am always very nervous when I get bloodwork. I tend to pass out and get high anxiety. Everyone was SO nice and they brought me to the room where you can lay down. I didn't even realize it was done! It was so quick and painless! Jenny at the front desk was so wonderful and helpful. Krishna who drew the blood was so quick and kind. Professional, quick and efficient. I did not schedule an appointment, although very crowded i was only there for about 40 minutes.

An absolutely horrific experience!! First, when I entered there was literally no one there except a machine telling you to check in and give your drivers license. (After you read what occurred, you'll understand why I wish the machine actually gave me the blood test as well!!) Upon doing that, I received a text to come in. The Wizard of Oz voice told me to go to go back, but no real direction how to find them so after wandering towards the back I located a woman who was abrupt and extremely unfriendly. She told me to go pick an empty room down the hall, so I walked into a room that said something about hazardous waste disposal and figured that's not the correct room!! I finally walked back and found what looked like an empty exam room, only to be yelled at by the lady who told me to go down the hall further! Found the little area where they had the curtains and went to sit down, but then staff member yelled to come in the room which another patient had just left, which didn't make me comfortable. Would've preferred to stay where I was for what "should have been" a very simple blood test. I have gone for as many as 16 to 20 vials of blood elsewhere, and today I only needed three. Apparently three was huge for this person. :-( She was a short, slightly obese, black woman, whose name started with the letter M. I can't recall but it was something like Marietta or Marguerite or something? (Anyone reading her exact name, please DM me...!! I would be grateful). Right away she turned me off by the way she was speaking in an unprofessional manner. Also, there was a giant bug climbing up the wall which I pointed out, and apparently she was very frightened of them and actually moved to this room because they were more bugs in a different room! (Doesn't instill confidence in their cleanliness or safety protocols!) I brushed it off thinking I just wanted to get my blood test and get the heck out of there. She then palpitates for what seemed like several minutes, and couldn't seem to locate a vein even though I clearly pointed out 2 very good veins that I have had successfully used in literally hundreds of past bloodwork. Finally says she found one, when she hears a noise and opens her curtain to see some kid racing down the hallway. I don't know if he belonged to a staff member or patient. But it distracted her and she lost the vein. So she went back to touching it with her hand again over and over and over and over tapping my arm to try and magically find this vein. Actually, I've never had another nurse do this in this manner. She decides that she found it and puts in the needle. After apart 20 seconds of pain, I look over and see no blood is coming into the vial. I asked her or more like stated, "you didn't find a vein, did you?" She says no, then goes to get another needle, and now I am spurting blood, but she does nothing to immediately stop the bleeding, or prevent a bruise or confusion, and doesn't even give me gauze. She goes to get another needle. I stop her & asked if she could please give me a Band-Aid! She doesn't give me a Band-Aid. I ended up having to go to my car & find my Emergency first aid kit to get a Band-Aid. But the story doesn't end here! Still needed to get bloodwork so I suggested she use a thinner needle. She then asks me, showing me a tray of needles, if I usually get the blue or the green one? At this point I was incredulous. I can't believe this nurse is asking ME which needle SHE should use?! Eventually another nurse comes in to kill the bug on the wall. I ask if she is a supervisor and she says yes. I then asked if she can please complete my blood work, which she agrees to. It took her only a couple seconds to find a vein (same arm!!) and complete the work. Which tells me my veins were just fine, but the first staff member, who is credentials I am unaware of, clearly had no clue what she was doing! I came home very distressed and run into a neighbor down the street. I start to relay the story when she asked me if I had this very same nurse. I asked, how did you know? And she gets agitated and shares her experience of how this woman has poked her many times and how another person has to finish the blood work and so on! Why the heck does Labcorp employ a person that clearly does not know technique, does not know her job, is completely unprofessional, and it's just stabbing people randomly in the hopes of eventually "catching" a vein?! This is the main function of this lab. It's to collect blood from people. It's to do blood test. How outrageous that they don't have more professional and capable personnel! I'm here at your old west. You can see my arm: this is about 17 hours after it was done. You can't see it in the picture, but the black and blue part actually is a raised contusion/bump as a result of this woman's complete incompetency!! I'd have to write two more pages if I tried to tell you about their billing. Avoid place! read more

I went to the Freehold office today and was told it was by appointment only. I asked if they could squeeze me in, but they refused. I have to fast so i need an early appointment. I went on the website and it's ridiculous. You can't enter the numbers for your birthdate, you have to scroll through by month. Somehow I found the scheduling and nothing is available this week. So I have to reschedule my dr. Appointment. The website says nothing about having to make appointments. In fact it says this : No appointment? No problem. Walk-ins are welcome.  While appointments are encouraged, they are not required. Go to your nearest Labcorp location at your convenience. Please check location details as some restrictions apply. The telephone also says nothing and tells you yo go to the website. So I made a trip for nothing. Very unprofessional. . read more

Unfortunately I can't use Quest because of my hospital requirements. So far I've used Labcorp twice and both times I had to be stuck more than once. Not what you expect from professional Phlebotomists!!! Labcorp appears to be operating for a profit with little or no concerns about the patients. The Freehold office is a PIGSTY!!!! The blood takers (not sure they are certified phlebotomists) are the same people that are behind the desk. Less employees = more profit. Altho the office did not seem too dirty the bathroom had apparently not been cleaned for quite a while; nor did they bother to restock the TP and toweling. The other bathroom was "Out of Order" or maybe too filthy to allow it to be used. Going back to the Union Hill office. Also had to be stuck twice, but it was clean and well staffed. Wow, what a difference an hour makes!!! I had a great experience at this office. The staff nicely explained how to check in process works now without chopping my head off because I was unaware the process had changed due to COVID. I am waiting in my car for a text. I was texted to come in very quickly and the woman was so kind and helpful. read more

Had a blood test appointment, A woman with all sorts of hair color drew the blood. It was a little painful as she was lifting the needle upward in my arm while filling the tubes. Needless to say when I got home I took off the bandage because my arm was in pain. I had a lump in the crook of my arm and it was turning black and blue. This was the worst blood draw ever in my life! It's going on a week now and my bruising is around to my elbow. read more

This is LabCorp on a Thursday at 7am. They aren't even allowing elder patients or pregnant patients sit in the waiting room. I'm 7 months pregnant here for a 3 hour glucose test. I haven't eaten since last night. This will easily now be another 4 hours of fasting while I sit on the floor of their dirty hallway. read more

I came to the lab needing bloodwork done on August 21st 2020 for my clinical rotations that start in a couple weeks in september. I came in around 12:30am as a walk-in. The person who was there in the lobby had informed a couple people and I that they were definitely taking walk-ins. After signing in, I was told to wait in my car from an E-mail, Text, and Call to come in. There was also a sign on the door saying that they were closing at 2:30pm. So I went into my car and proceeded to play video games in my car and wait constantly checking my phone to make sure i don't miss my walk-in appointment. A couple hours go by and it is now 2:10. I get out of my car and walk into the building to go up to LabCorp. The door is locked and the location was closed. I waited so long for nothing. Not even a heads up that they may not get to me. Thanks LabCorp Freehold. I will be letting everyone know about this. Thank you for wasting my time on what was actually an extremely busy day for me as I had so much to do that day. read more

Efficient and friendly! Went today on a Saturday as a walk in. Was prepared to wait a long time as no online appts were available. Not the case at all! In and out in less than 20 minutes. There is a woman that works there with very short spikey hair (wish I would've gotten her name). She was so helpful and so kind. Made sure everyone was taken care of. This location makes an unpleasant experience like getting blood drawn actually a little more pleasant. Thank you, Labcorp! read more

Wow! A two hour wait . Once you get into a room the female technician goes to the front to chit chat with coworkers and then disappears leaving the male technician alone with all 3 patients in cubicles and a line for patients waiting to enter the cubicle area. Female never reappeared while I was there. Poorly run facility. Very disappointed. read more

Brought my two daughters ages 16 and 13 today to get bloodwork. Both girls were really nervous about it. The staff was amazing. All were so nice and funny, trying to relax the girls. Wish I got all their names because they were all great. Joy took their blood and was patient and spoke to them the whole time. Another came back and offered to hold my daughter's hand. I could not ask for better service! read more

If I could rate this lower I would. I have a 7 year old daughter who needs blood work. She's 7 and is afraid of the whole needles and experience. The first day I went my daughter got to scared and we had to leave. I went back 4 days later after building up my daughters confidence. After waiting in a room for 40 minutes the tech tried to get blood. Said she was too hard a case and to leave. Go to a different labcorp. I asked them what location specializes in children. They had no answer. Then I was asked to please leave out the back door so I would not make a scene. I'm left with a 7 year old who has to go through this experience again and is terrified. I can't find anything on there website or office saying that they can't handle small children If they can't do the job I should have been told upfront. Now my daughter has gone through this experience twice and will have to do it again I'm externally frustrated and disappointed in this labcorp. read more
