I was surprised by two bills, however. $171 for the physician group, and another $619 for a facility charge. $790 charged for a 10-15 minute minimal complexity visit is shameful. Other walk-in clinics I have used do not charge a facility fee. Perhaps because this one is located in a hospital they justify it, but this is no ER and the consumer should not be similarly upcharged. I called the billing dept at 983-8300 and was told things like taking my height, weight, and blood pressure go towards the facility fee and this location is considered one step down from an ER. I call BS. It's services are no different than other extended hour clinics. I'll pay my bill, but will not return to this expensive location.

The facility is located in a shared space in downtown Streator. I usually park in the front in the street, but I believe there is additional parking behind the building. It is super clean in the business, and you just fill out your information and you're in and out. If you sign up for their newsletter they will send you monthly specials which is what prompted me to come back a second time. The specials are so good! Kristy was very careful during the blood draw and I felt like I was a valued customer. You will want to check their website before coming in (no appointments) because their hours are limited. Results are sent to you in a couple days, super fast in my opinion, and you can have them sent to your personal email if you wish. You also do not need to have a doctor's order to get a test, you can come in and tell them specifically which test(s) you want. Best value for labs in the area in my opinion.

Had a back injury when I was a kid that I never really had looked at. Fast forward 12 years, and…read moreit's still causing me pain (go figure). Went to one doctor who pushed for an MRI, and then never got back to me. Waited a few months and decided to head here (Pinnacle) and give them a go. Was in so much pain at the time that I couldn't even sit down without tears welling up. Standing at an always angle was my only relief. They saw this. They knew this. This visit occurred around spring time 2025 I went in, did the routine, signed a waiver to release my MRI to them, and got some blood work scheduled for a little later on. Left very hopeful and optimistic with how genuinely invested the doctor seemed to be in fixing me. Gave me a lot of info. I never heard back from Pinnacle. No follow up, no "hey we have your MRI results and this is what they show", no emails, no calls/voicemails, not even a letter. Nothing. Pinnacle ghosted me. The lack of follow up and being all around a caring and professional healthcare organization is not the reason for the single star rating however. The rating comes from the fact that nobody got back to me, yet I OWED THEM MONEY. I paid my copay, and thought that was it. Next thing I know, I have a collections agency calling me about a debt stemming from my visit here at pinnacle. Had absolutely no knowledge of it. And when I called, I got a woman with a nasty attitude basically telling me I'm an idiot because they always send out PAPER MAIL about money owed. So not only did I not get a letter at all, but in 2025, you can't CALL ME OR EMAIL ME WHEN YOU HAVE MY INFO?? This came at the perfect time too, because I was just recently laid off from work. I understand but it's 30$ and I always pay my bill. i said now I have to be sick the whole weekend and hope someone will answer on Monday. Erin said well I can give you my extension! OMG how about care about your patients! I'll never go back! they are all about money money money! a dr can override anything!
