The ask if you have drank water or eaten like it's your fault they can't get you blood. That happened both times I went there. The one lady couldn't get my blood (assuming she was new) she had to call another lady with a whale on her badge both times. So I didn't have just one arm that had needle poke I had two. my right arm hurt like hell (from the incompetent blood draw) with black and blues on it. The second time I went here I knew I had enough water. I don't look forward to going here ever again. Train your people better.

I am a chronic illness patient so I encounter many doctors, and often when going to urgent care I encounter doctors of which who instantly dismiss me, don't listen to my concerns, or make me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Dr Miseno-Callaghan is definitely not in that group, and was very patient and made sure she got a history, as well as a second opinion before advising and treating me due to my chronic conditions. Due to a dental infection I have, she advised me of doctors and locations that will likely accept my insurance, as well as have openings. When I came in I felt lost, stuck, and suffering. Now the next day I feel better due to the medication prescribed by her, and the guidance, as well as validation, she has given me.

That said, I have used this place a few times and other than the wait, which should absolutely be expected from any urgent care facility, they were pleasant and attentive. Had to take a friend here who was unwell with an oral infection and fever. They were understaffed, but checked back with us frequently. After seeing the nurse and the PA they ran a few tests and determined she had a server bacterial infection. Administered IV fluids and IV antibiotics as well as kept us there for monitoring for a couple hours. Again, with the exception of the expected wait times, it was a pleasant experience from the staff, and they discovered a deeper issue that was potentially life threatening.

Also, dealing with them for our office also proves difficult as the fax never seems to work, and again, NO ONE answers the phone. For a newer office, they are not very efficient. I went to Capital imaging on Route 9 , 1001 Louden Road in Latham for decades. It was locally…read moreowned and founded by radiologists from the area. Always great. It's been sold and the entire staff replaced. I knew everyone doing mammograms and ultrasound, they are all gone. The new folks are nice but so what? They changed all the policies for cancer survivors that made me trust them. And I think this is unforgivable. When I got on the ultrasound table I bumped my head-hard-on a metal bar hanging right over where your head would go. It was equipment not used for US and obviously the room had been repurposed. The technician said it was bolted into the floor and could not be removed, and I was not the first patient to hit it with my head. The radiologists used to be right there reading scans, all gone. Obviously they are now read offsite by who knows who or where. So I don't trust them and now go to Image Care, part of community care physicians on route 9 in Clifton Park and so far I am very impressed.
