I've been going to this Labcorp location since it moved to Pantops. I've lived in Miami Fl, Chapel Hill NC , Duluth MN and I can say without a DOUBT that the staff in this office is EXCEPTIONAL - in every way. They are professional, kind, caring and personable in every way. I have NEVER had a painful blood draw. Strange as it may seem , but I always walk out with a smile on my face. It's the liitle things, right? Like REAL People who remember you and always have a nice thing to say. When a physician 's office has not sent in the lab request, the front desk here has managed to obtain it right away. I have several autoimmune issues and frequently have blood draws. For those complainers, perhaps you might extend a kind word and take reponsibitly to make sure your labs have been sent in correctly from your physician and ask them if there are special instructions. Try to do your homework. YAY Pantops Labcorp read more

Had my blood drawn on April 2, they insisted on me paying my deductible. I paid in cash. Now im being billed by them. I have discarded my receipt as I believe everything was handled. After days of trying to get them, I wrote an email to the corporate office, which is unhelpful as well. Very sketchy, either someone is stealing or a mistake was made. The two ladies at the front weren't friendly at all. I donot recommend this location to anyone. read more

The staff at LabCorp in Charlottesville, VA at 490 Pantops Mountain Pl, Ste 110, Charlottesville, VA 22911 are wonderful, efficient, and caring. I have had good service with LabCorp for over 16 years and it has only gotten better and better since they moved to the NEW 'Pantop's Mountain Place' location. Easy in easy out good close parking with handicap spots as well. I like that results are now provided directly to patients and their online portal is easy to use. Reports are very well organized and you can also compare your current results with your past results. You do need to insist you doctors use LabCorp or some doctor's offices will want to do draws in their office or send you to local hospital labs. Over the years I have had very difficult draws from doctor's offices and hospital labs and have never had that experience with LabCorp. When you take control of your health and use the same lab, fasting each time, over time you get more consistent monitoring. Always be well hydrated with filtered plain water at least 1 day before and the day of your blood draw. Note they are closed a short time at lunch time. They make getting a blood draw actually pleasant ! read more

Well, I got a blood draw over a year ago. The lady was in a bad mood that day, I should have walked away. When the needle went-in it burned and hurt. I told her and she said it would go away. Over a year later my arm still hurts. Doing bicep curls or holding anything for too long my arm turns to mushy pain. Not only that the the vile had blood dripping from it and the draw got canceled. I never was able to get any test results. Awful, please beware. read more

Oh they are like predatory billing. Very shady practice, rude people when you call. Essentially my insurance paid the lab and even after two months they are still trying to collect. I even showed them the email and transaction where they were sent money and accepted from insurance. They cant get anything right and asked me for payment. But then said "oh we will pay you back if this was already paid" I reported them to the FTC and had the opportunity to read numerous complaints filed against them with initiating fines. Moral of the story never ask for any testing by your physician. read more

Totally unprofessional, lost my Dr's referral. Tried to call ahead because my physician's office warned me that this location was sketchy, but they NEVER answered phone calls from my doctor, myself, or even corporate headquarters. Was told, "Yeah, we don't do that because we don't have a receptionist." by the receptionist. Go figure. read more

Our Dr called around 11:50 to determine if an appointment was needed for bloodwork on a newborn. They were told no appointment is needed; however, they close for lunch from 12:30 to 1, so we drove across town and arrived around 12:24 to a locked door. We knocked on the door and were greeted by an employee who advised us they lock the doors at 12:25. We then asked about the "lunch" policy since we thought there was time and the employee advised us that they watched us walk up at 12:24 so we were late and while we were trying to explain the misunderstanding from the Dr's information, the employee walked away while we were still speaking and then I'm assuming the manager/leader appeared and reiterated the lunch policy from 12:30 to 1 with doors locked at 12:25. Firstly, if the doors are going to be locked at 12:25 then it would not be a bad idea to communicate that when anyone inquires to avoid confusion and provide better customer service. Secondly, what I heard the employee say was that they watched us walk to the door and quickly went to lock the door. A better way to handle that situation would have been to greet us and advise us that the doors are locked at 12:25 and apologize if that information was not conveyed to us versus having patients arrive to a locked door. Thirdly, the "manager/leadership" person should have apologized for the misunderstanding and showed the employee how to provide good customer service versus mimicking poor customer service. And finally, please do not respond to this review with the generic disingenuous response, just provide better training for your employees and management. read more

Had an appointment for lab work confirmed online. After checking in, I was denied care for lack of a form that was not specified when setting up the appointment. I was spoken to as if I was unintelligent. I was told I could return to urgent care and get the form and return. I'd rather sit in the ER for hours than to have this interaction again. read more

Had an appointment for lab work. The instructions state to stay in your car and do remote check in. The check in process was not working. A woman came out from the back, did not acknowledge me. Very unprofessional, the person took my blood was not wearing her mask correctly. It was under her nose. read more

I have had many positive experiences at other LabCorps. This is not an indictment of LabCorp in general, but only about one experience on one particular day at the LabCorp at this particular location. My policy is not to leave a critical review unless first expressing my concern at the time while at the business. I spoke with the LabCorp front desk about 3 things that were disturbing to me at the time, namely: 1) In a packed waiting room, calling people up by name, then asking for them to recite their date of birth and SSN within earshot of everyone. Anyone with a shady intention could have walked out of there with 25 identities ripe for the stealing. 2) My appointment was at 9 am. At 9:45, I nicely said, hey, my appointment time was 45 minutes ago and was told they were waiting on a clarification from my physician. Another 30 minutes later, no, sorry, waiting on your doctor. At 11:30, 2 1/2 hours after my appointment time, I called my doctor to ask what the heck the hold up was. Doctor replied they had never heard from LabCorp. I relay this to LabCorp front desk, who says, who is your doctor again? Oh, ooops, we've been calling the wrong doctor. Not, oh my goodness, we're so sorry, just oops, wrong doctor. 3) A bathroom so filthy, it was unusable. When I politely let them know that the bathroom needed attention, and quickly, they replied "Oh, it's always like that." Some poor Mom with 2 little girls and no choice had to use the place, but others like me, went in and came out immediately after deciding that we would rather have our bladders burst than touch anything in that bathroom. Oh, and after waiting for 3 hours for my blood draw, the technition left me with a bruise that was a good 8 inches in length and 5 inches across. read more

This location used to be great. The staff was always friendly, fast and very efficient. But, as with many businesses post covid any help is better than none. The staff on 08/01/2023 could not have been more rude or clearly demonstrate they hate their job. read more

The tech person was friendly, fast and no problems doing a routine blood draw. The results also went to my doc without any problems. I was in another state and a different lab provider sent my results to some other doctor in a different state and when my doc tried to get the results they couldn't send it to her. In addition, I had to track my results down and it was sent to archieve - why do i write this on labcorp's review? Cause they got it right the first time. The front desk was ok, the website doesn't have a way to schedule an appt and no information on whether they take walk-ins so I had to just trust they would take a walk-in as my insurance said I would be covered if I went to a Labcorp. A couple months later I got a bill that asked if I had secondary insurance, I had to call my insurance and they called Labcorp cause they were never billed. Labcorp billing and a poor website is why they get one less star. They should fix that - considering they're pretty much the only lab in Charlottesville. read more

I drove all the way over for a scheduled appointment, only for them to refuse services to me because I didn't have a form that they neglected to mention online or in any appointment confirmation documentation. I even tried to call them twice (and left messages) to ask if I needed to bring any additional documentation, but they never picked up the phone or responded to my voicemails. I rescheduled my appointment with a different company that actually answers their phone and let's me know what I need for my appointments ahead of time. read more

Really lousy place to get your blood drawn. My boyfriend went there today and when asked to describe this place, he gave three solemn words. Unprofessional. Unclean. Untidy. Please go somewhere else if you want someone to sanitize their hands before drawing your blood. read more

I have been going to this location for years, always make an appt. on line, as I have a special needs son that needs routine blood work. The staff is always kind, professional, sweet, and make it as 'non-invasive' as possible. read more

Rude girl at the desk. No one washed hands or used sanitizer. Huge bruise on my arm from the woman using the largest needle she had. I'll pay more and go somewhere else than go back. read more
