Beware of Dr. Badery. My nickname for him is "Dr. Death"…read more Do a Google search to learn more about him. My sister was admitted to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center (WARM) on or about Nov. 1st, 2025. Her hemoglobin was extremely low and she needed two units of blood. I don't know what else they found, but she was there for about 2 weeks. Her primary physician was Dr. Badery. We are trying to get specific details of her treatment, but we have not yet obtained copies of her medical records. She was released after that first stay with an antibiotic IV bag. About a week later she was vomiting "black stuff" (most likely dried blood) and was again took an ambulance to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. She was again treated by Dr. Badery. This time they found an upper GI bleed which probably explains the low hemoglobin, but I don't know that for sure. Question - Did she develop that bleed in the week after being discharged, or did they discharge her with abdominal bleeding? I travelled out there to be with her on Dec. 8th. When I arrived she was unable to raise her hand to her mouth to feed herself, she could not sit up without help, nor could she stand without help. Shortly after I arrived a social worker stopped by to see her. I was told that "medically she is just fine", and that they were transferring her to a rehab center. The social worker asked her if she remembered her and my sister said that the social worker was her daughter, of course that was not true. She asked her if she knew what day of the week it was and my sister didn't know. Then she pulled out a piece of paper and asked my sister to sign it. My sister was not physically able to sign her name, and she was certainly not mentally able to direct her own care, but that is what this social worker asked her to do. I followed this social worker out into the hallway to talk to her, but she didn't want to talk to me. I asked questions, but she interrupted by talking over me. She wouldn't look at me and she kept glancing at her watch. Finally, she just walked away. I asked to talk to her doctor, and after 30-40 minutes someone came in, put her in a wheelchair, pushed her out the front door and into a van to transfer her to the rehab center. I was told that the doctor was too busy to talk to me. Once they put her in the van, I had no choice but to leave and follow that van to the rehab center. That was on Monday afternoon. On Wednesday afternoon the doctor at the rehab center said that they had not been able to stabilize her blood sugar the whole time that she had been there. They transferred her by ambulance to the emergency department at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Obviously, she was not "medically just fine" when the discharged her. Thanks Dr. Death. She was in the emergency department overnight and they transferred her to ICU on Thursday. It is important for me to mention that nursing staff in the ICU was fantastic. In fact, most of the nurses throughout the entire hospital were just great. Not so much for the hospital itself. Not so much for her "doctor", and certainly not so much for that awful social worker. Her condition continued to decline while she was in the ICU. By Saturday she was too far gone to survive, and we moved her to in-hospital hospice. Again, the ICU nurses were fantastic. We lost her at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 14. I would like to add a few comments about the facilities at Western Arizona Medical Center: They seldom answer the main number when you call. They haven't had a patient advocate for over a year and a half. There was a strong sewage smell in public restroom on the main floor of the hospital the whole time that I was there. The hospital is "clean", but not as clean as I expect from a hospital. There is peeling and/or stained and discolored paint in many areas of this hospital.

I want to give a hugmongas praise and appreciation to the entire ICU and Emergency Room for taking…read moresuch excellent care above and beyond the call of duty to my wife Angela Vasquez in ICU room 14. I know they have some divine help but they did their jobs flawlessly and I personally commend each and every one of them for a job well done.

I had to get a Department of Transportation medical exam and drug test, and my company sent me to Real Occupational. They told me up front "our Doctor is real cool." They were right. I got in really quick, despite a waiting room full. Everyone was really friendly, with the slight exception of one of the ladies up front, but everyone has a bad day. There was even a glitch with my blood pressure, and they reassured me "don't worry, just come back and let's check again." I did and everything was fine (those two cups of coffee before I went in probably didn't help). Then Dr. Wall even explained why it was really common. No place is going to be perfect, but when you think of having to go to clinic of any kind, this is as good as it gets. Hopefully the previous reviewer will give them another chance. Definitely worth it.

They could have told me 3:30pm the first time and I wouldn't have came all the way from LA. Spoke to the office manager Juan. He made me repeat myself 4-5 times. If that's a manager then that explains why this place sucks. He said he would have made an exception if he was there and he surely was there and made no exception. Instead he was being a rude j**k. Shoot the 7 minutes we argued on the phone, he could have let me pissed in a cup but instead he felt like pissing me off. Would not recommend this place to anyone. If I was an employer, I would rather my employees piss dirty than to send them here. This place was just sold to some other company and looks like everything went to s**t. I requested my company to send me elsewhere other than this sh**hole with a bunch of sh**heads.
