Call center cancelled my appointment the morning of via text message, Reason: Dr. had family emergency. When I was finally able to reach some one with the authority to reschedule me I was told the best they could do would be 12/24 or 12/26. Three months after my original appointment was cancelled!!!!!! BTW...my husband was able to see the same doc I had been scheduled with...he told her of my experience...she denied that she had cancelled any appointments and had not had any family emergency that kept her from work. She promised she would look into it. I am so deeply concerned and saddened by the change in management . This had been a top of the line practice since it opened. No longer true.

Tried to refill a prescription, did not understand what that was. Why are you calling? because Penn Med at VF does not accept calls from Drug stores, mail order drugs, etc. Silence. These people do not know ANYTHING about you or Penn's policies. Their equipment is so bad you can barely hear them. They put you on hold, you can hear them answer other calls, and put THEM on hold. Be prepared for a long wait for calls to be answered: 50 minutes. If you set up a call back, it is ignored. It's a shame to put this here, since this is Pennmed Corporate. But as a corporation, rest assured Penn medicine is making sure that profits are #1 and does not care one bit if you find another doctor.

Every time I see her she is very empathetic and I've often had to write her via our patient portal for all kinds of different things, she is extremely responsive and always helps me no matter what my issue is. She scheduled blood tests and said she would call me with the results. I received blood test results via internet and noted multiple liver, kidney and glucose results were OUT OF THE NORMAL RANGE. Plus all FOUR of the abnormal blood results MATCHED MY CONCERNING SYMPTOMS. I waited a day then called the office and asked to speak to the PA however, the PA was busy. 30 mins later some unknown person called me and told me the PA said there was no problem. It's a sad day when your doctor doesn't give you a chance to answer questions concerning four abnormalities in my blood test results. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CHRISTINE MYERS ASSOC.

In retrospect our first visit was maybe a little more rushed from the doctor, but only because our nurse during the follow-up visit was so thorough and amazing! (we didn't feel any negative way during our first visit, to be clear) Regardless, both times they took care of us and made us feel comfortable and I will definitely return if I find myself needing the services again. Not an unkind or uncaring person amongst them.
