Not tourist-friendly during COVID, don't waste time coming right now if you were not vaccinated in the EU to get an EU COVID Certificate. I am visiting Berlin from Los Angeles, California. My digital COVID passes from California would not scan at the door. So I was refused entry because they can only scan the EU pass. Frustrating and embarrassing. KitKatClub, local bars and gyms, the airport, trains, and German border officials all accept California proof of vaccination. Yes, Lab is more strict than even the German government at its border! Instead of being rigid and inflexible, maybe businesses should consider that all American tourists in Berlin are fully vaccinated, because they cannot enter Germany without government-approved approved, verified, confirmed proof of vaccination. After doing a lot of research I decided to visit here on my trip to Berlin from Uganda. I was particularly interested in the stallion and mares party because this type of thing never sees the light of legality in my part of Africa. What happened next, I will ask that if there are any children reading this review to please stop, this is a parental guidance moment. What to say about the Lab? I am glad I gave it a second chance, due it failed after my first visit but I came to the point of view this was because an unlucky chain of even more unlucky circumstances. Location/Atmosphere: Not hard to mention that the Lab is in the same building as the Berghain. Straight forward industrial atmosphere but not cold. Available is a plenty of playing areas. In summer it is also possible to play outside where even more areas are available. Public: Absolutely mixed. Starting from 20 to 70+. Athletic, slim, avarage, chubby Small or large Every kind of people. Party: Changing motto parties, offering fun for everyone. Sportswear, fetish, or something completely different everyone will find something that fits for him. Prices: Absolutely fair, settled at the lower border. Beer 3,30EUR, Longdrink 6,00EUR, with Energy 7,00EUR. Regarding the Longdrinks: The barkeepers do not pinch with alcohol. Staff: Quick and friendly. Good to know: - Open door times are strict. When the door is closed, it is closed! - Dresscodes are as strict as the door. Who wants to go to a fetish party and does not wear appropriate gear will have to stay out. read more

i was alone in berlin. and was told to visit this place so i went. i was kinda lost and this place is like behind berghain and gives you the feeling that you're at a wrong place. i opened that black door and the bouncer totally scared me. i was panicked and started speaking english... he asked "what are you looking for?" ... hmmm what should be the answer? lab? laboratory? sex? what? i froze up. he let me in regardless. ok here's the instruction so you are not scared like i did. 1. open the black door and just say guten abend to the guy. 2. pay up the cover. it was something reasonable 6 euros or something. 3. they will give you a plastic bag and a laminated card with your number. so put in all and everything in the plastic except your shoes and socks. (it was a naked night). but keep your number. don't lose it. 4. give the bag to the check-in guy. they will write your number on your shoulder. still keep your number. 5. go get beer from the bar. you can't do lab sober. your number is your tab. don't have to pay anything. 6. sit by putting your bare butt on cold iron pipe chair. drink your beer. get ready. smoke if you want. you can smoke here. there's almost no fresh air in there. deal with it. 7. now go explore the play area and grab some condoms and put them in your socks. people won't seem to get into action until the door closes (10pm or something) then you can check out all of the available options. no more new people. 8. use your body language to communicate. sometimes german works. sometimes it doesn't. same goes for english. i tried both languages with some success. body language is the best here. 9. have more beer. you really can't do this sober really. 10. when you're done, there are sinks that are placed low enough for you to wash your things easily. so clever. 11. time to pay up and leave. show the number to the clothes check guy and put your clothes back on. don't lose the number. 12. go back to the bar and pay up. show the barman your number. and keep the receipt. 13. show the bouncer the receipt and your number. and he will let you out. that was very complicated. but i have to say it was very fun and interesting at the same time. so much emotion of myself that i discovered in there. what i did that three times in a night? or wait what? somebody likes that? i had a lot of questions that might not ever be answered. but that's totally ok. read more

Today is Sunday, 16.07.2017, a day for "Atheletic". In the web site it is written "Sportsmen, football- and soccerplayers, swimmers...... that's your party." So I want to wear as a swimmer and go there with a swim short. The control told me to take out my trousers in front of the door to see my swim short I am wearing and said: "Go back home and wear something else. I don't let you in" I asked: "But in the website it is written a swimmer is allowed today" He did not answered my question and closed the door. Then I went home and wear as a footballer and came back after 20 minutes. He looked at me again and said: "You have not changed. Go home" I: "But I don't understand. I went home and have changed my clothes" He: "You don't need to understand" Then he closed the door without any explanations. Horrible place, creepy, disgusting yuck! Definitely not what I was expecting. The place was so warm it made you want to vomit, you could taste the sex and sweat of the others in the air...and believe me.....it's not ryan gosling's or brad pitt's-kind-of-guy sweat...... horrible. I still think I haven't washed it off. The average age was probably 45, not that many young people, mostly people in their 40s-50s and even 60s. Then too many asses showing (the nice ones were covered sadly, only the flappy ones were open to the view....) Everybody or almost everybody is naked and half of them with leather straps or s&m things. Too many people there, you have to push through and they're all shirtless and moist..... and the place is not that big, only one floor, they shouldn't let so many people in. Plus the entire place is lit up! so there's no anonymity or discretion. Don't think you're not gonna be seen or anything, no....there's plenty of light, you can see everything. Sure there are these "rooms" or spaces that have no light but they're super narrow coz it's between two walls so there's a line to get in, yep....and every time somebody new comes in they just have to rub all against you coz there's no space so.....and in those rooms with plastic curtains to cut off light and cover them, people also line up and they're always opening it to check inside and they're probably only about 2x2m big so not that many people fit in there.... And these spaces count for just 1% of the place, there are only two of those 2x2 rooms and one wall strip and then another weird strip there, and not very long or big....the rest is open space were everyone is mostly hanging out, of all the people there.....naked were 90%, having sex probably 40%, the rest are just sitting down, staring or walking by, or masturbating.....weird atmosphere.... The place is creative, I can't deny that, there are swings, showers, cages, bathtubs, a volting horse, peeing chambers, good priced drinks (shots are around 2.50€), couches (although faux leather.....so you're kinda sitting on who knows what...) The bathrooms are the worst place you could imagine, by far the warmest place, plus the heating was on! wtf.....wasn't there enough body warmth...? And you have to wait for like 10 min to get in! there's a line in a men's bathroom.....what is up with that.....?the floor is full of toilet paper in the hallway leading towards it (coz they have toilet paper rolls hanging from bars on the walls for your convenience, that's kind of good, but in the bathroom they just throw it on the floor) I would suggest not going on the typical friday night 2-4-1 night (although hell, those 2x1 drinks are great, 4 shots for 5€ that's nothing, great to give you a kick) or the "naked party" because they let everybody in, I mean everybody. I would suggest going to the "Athlete night" where you'd probably be able to have much more fun since only fit people would be let in and the place won't be so crowded, I'd bet. and with hot hunks and not the grandpas and fat people swinging their tools, coz that's all you could see, flappy buts with jockstraps all over and omg horrible images I have now.... there was even a guy downstairs in a small room just sitting there on the floor against the wall while the people in the chambers above it pissed on others and since the floor were bars it all fell then on to him, omg.... read more
