I have only been here for when they have had concerts, which seems ridiculous if you have been to the place, just because it is so small. But yes, I have been here for two concerts.
One time the band played in the bar and everyone had to sit/stand/jump/dance outside. This of course was during the summer.
The second time around, it was an acoustic set by one of my favorite bands. I couldn't complain.
Except about the general layout of the place....I always hate it when you enter and the bar is just standing RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. If there is a line for some drinks, then the first thing you do is run into people. It's quite annoying. Also annoying are the drunkards that stumble in and out. That one night that I was there in particular, there were a few smelly ones. However, that is not really the establishment's fault, is it?
At the same time, I like the glowing letters they have set against the brick walls and the giant bull hanging from the ceiling. Flying male cows are cool, and so is exposed brick.
I would come here again, if it isn't full in front of the tresen, if it were summer, or if another decent music act was going on. The service was decent and they do speak English as well. Its more of a punk place too (mohawk punk types) I should mention, but they also play a lot of pop punk (ie Green Day friendly). Typical XBerg non-electro scene shindig. read more
