*Updated Review* MUST TRY BRUNCHDAY. I was a fan of LAB's coffee from the beginning but their food is even better. The set brunch menu is a perfect portion size for two people - and even includes two drinks. We decided to order the "Tree Hugger" which came with a polenta cake topped with zucchini noodles, avocado toast with a poached egg, and a fresh quinoa salad severed alongside hummus. The flavors were both complex and refreshing - the polenta cake was by far our favorite. We also ordered a cappuccino and a negroni to drink. The cappuccino was the perfect coffee to milk ratio with a fluffy and thick coffee crema. Finally, the negroni was the perfect complement to the entire meal - tangy, sweet, and refreshing. This place is AWESOME: a beautiful, sun-soaked space, great coffee, and delicious food. They've also got excellent music and friendly staff. My suggestion for a triple threat: an aeropress filter coffee, a banana bread, and a grilled cheese. A great coffee shop for visitors and locals alike. read more
