I went with the chicken option since I'm not really a steak person, and the chicken was a little too over cooked and dry. Service was a little iffy.... Prices are pretty reasonable - about 25 a person for main, dessert, and wine. Not too shabby. Speaking of dessert, it was the end of the night and they really served us the rest of all the dessert - huge huge portions.

Our server was very kind and patient. The ambience was very calm, with low, but relaxing music perfect for chatting without shouting. The gendered bathrooms were clean and modern. There was also a family / accessible washroom. The food was delicious. The four of us shared a bottle of cider, which was quite nice. My boyfriend and I shared a salty crepe, and they actually split it and served on two plates which was nice. Then we shared la Belle Helen on a single plate and that was amazing! Would highly recommend this spot, and would like to go back and try some more things!

Each dish came with a fresh side salad, rich mushroom gravy, and crispy French fries, and some of us had green beans too. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on. We finished with apple pie, which was the perfect way to end the meal. Service was friendly, attentive, and relaxed. We sat outside on a warm early fall evening, and it made the whole dinner feel special. It's also just a few blocks from our hotel, so it was easy to walk over. Highly recommend for a relaxed, satisfying meal in Metz. We'd happily come back!
