Ok so here is the thing, i might sound biased while i write this review for a couple of reasons…read more Back when i lived in J town, we used to go to the Mercado and I fondly remember this older woman that would sell little donuts that she would make in front of you. The Donuts themselves were nothing out of this world, just sprinkled with a sugar and cinnamon mixture and that's it. What made them amazing was the just made warmth that each of them had. Fast Forward many years and I find myself at the El Paso Burger and Craft Beer fest, after grabbing a few burgs and settling down to drink them with some water, i found myself needing a little bit of sweetness for an after meal snack. After thinking about my regular options we noticed this little red food truck, a cute little stand up sign informing us of the different "creations" and a smiling woman working the cashier station. We walk up and notice that they sell mini donuts, and not just those regular mini donuts that filled both my stomach and heart up with happiness back in my childhood, but these awesome "creations" that had things such as Nutella, Chocolate, strawberry drizzle, nuts, whipped cream...ever so many combinations that just made your mouth water. I got the original, and it was as if though i was transported to J town and i was in front of that lady as she smiled while i ate her delicious pastries (that sounded kinda creepy). Recently i saw the truck again at Chalk the Block and we were able to try out their Apple Pie Mini Donuts...and let me tell you...they were simply AMAZING! This place seriously is amazing, and if you do find it roaming around please...please....PLEASE!!! buy some of their delicious donuts and try their awesome Mango lemonade...also tell em Pocket sent ya, even tho they probably have no idea who i am...JUST DO EEET!

I thought the sugar cinnamon could have used a little more cinnamon. Also, about half an hour after I ordered, they put out their specialty donut display. I totally would've like to try a donut covered in Nutella...(not that I really NEED that!)

The vegetables from sinigang was cabbage which is normally used for nilaga. The bbq was not bad. The portions of every meal doesn't justify the price. I think the turon was the highlight of our meal. It wasn't too sweet at all. Perfectly glazed with brown sugar. I give them props for making it fresh. We wanted to support our kababayans so we did. The service could be better if the lady would be more approachable. The only friendly staff there was there 2 year old kid. She was waving to everyone. It was hard to see the cleanliness of the truck but on one of the picture the cooking oil was visible from the outside. Running a food truck is hard but I'm hoping that next time we visit, they would improve their service and their quality of food. Still worth giving them a chance for our next visit.

I ordered the pancit and I was shocked to find it bland with no green onion, white onion, garlic, etc. only small pieces of cabbage and 3 slivers of carrots. The lumpia was the size of a pencil but the beef stick was the only thing that was good. Next time, I'll pass and look at another food truck.
