A concept that has its roots here and then spread to many other wine regions in Europe. The cellar is beautiful and we did a tour and wine tasting with a really funny local who was super passionate about the place. He was also very funny and ironic and was very engaging. The wine tasting was more like a wine drinking as we started with two bottles of their Sekt and then went on to taste many more bottles. I was pretty tipsy by the end ;-) Absolutely loved some of their whites and their reds were amazingly good. We were served some food and had a private wine tasting room. Staff here were super friendly and very passionate about the place. I must admit I fell in love with the concept and the place. I will definitely buy from them online as they represent many local farmers that put a lot of hard work into growing and then sharing the wine making tasks. A beautiful winery to visit when in the area.

Apparently it was a winery back in the day but they stopped making wines and now they only order them. We booked a wine tour not sure what to expect but it turned out to be fun. The wine tour was in Dutch but the people were nice enough to explain it in English as well. They usually only have the tours in Dutch though. It was really nice that they accomodated us in english and it made the experience great. At the end of the walking tour you get to taste the different wines and have some little snacks. All the snacks were nice finger foods. The bread was ridiculously good though. That was a trend in Belgium and Holland where they have the freshest bread on the table every time. The wine was solid as well. It was a fun time at the "winery" and we also bought some wine after. Definitely come check it out.

Overall a great place to stay while visiting the Trier area. The building we stayed at seemed…read morefairly new and the room was very modern and spacious. In the room we even had a folder with suggestions and recommendations of local tours and cities to visit while there. During our stay we also enjoyed a great meal with tasty wines. The food was fresh and the wines we sampled were delicious, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, will stay again when in the area.
