We liked that it was away from the main tourist street as many locals drop by to pickup their own treats also. We ordered a large cup to share between two people, which could fit 3 flavors and was plenty after a full dinner meal. They have a large range of flavors, ranging from super creamy chocolate to light fresh fruit options. We got the Baci Perugina (hazelnut), tiramisu and cheesecake. The cheesecake was our favorite! They have a lovely sitting area upstairs to enjoy whatever you end up picking. Lovely quirky decorations and a cozy space.

We went to this location in the Arenas Commercial mall twice and one by Barcelonata once. Our absolute favorite flavor was the Tarta De Fresa, which translated means "Strawberry pie." Best dang pie I've ever had. We got the smallest size and it comes with your choice of two scoops of two flavors. The strawberries were very fresh and there were bit of pie crust pieces in the gelato. Gelato was creamy but melted a little faster than some of the ones I've had in Italy. The other flavor that night I chose was a Kinder Bueno which was a vanilla base with bits of Kinder Bueno chocolate. This was okay. When we went to the Barceloneta location they didn't have the amazing Tarta De Fresa flavor, so we went with some fruity cheesecake flavors; although they were good, our favorite will always be the strawberry pie. The beach's prices were a little more than the mall's and they have a credit card minimum of 5 Euro unlike the mall's location. The mall's food court stays open pass the store hours, until 12 or 1AM I believe and Dino's also provides free wifi. 4.5 stars rounding up.

Having past here numerous times a day when going into my hotel, I decided to call in here to try it. This is run by Dino's, who have quite a poor branch I visited the day before this one on the beach. VISIT 1: I came in, unlike the branch near Barcelona beach there wasn't allergens labelled which was a shame, but the staff member who was working did seem friendly enough and told me what I couldn't have. I ended up going for a special flavour with mango and cherry, it tasted nice, it tasted fresh and I really enjoyed it, It was 2.20 euro for a pot. VISIT 2: I came back and the service I received was really bad, the staff member spoke poor english but still tried to tell me what I could and couldn't have. I ordered a coffee ice cream and it really wasn't very nice, it didn't taste like fresh, authentic gelato which the name would suggest. I also tried a gluten free cone on this occasion with my pot, even the cone wasn't very nice and the second time around the quality of the ice cream tasted awful. Because of this I'm struggling to rate this place, on one hand I did have a good experience but on the other everything went wrong in terms of poor quality food and service - There is a limited amount of high seating but the way it is set out it seems to discourage people sitting there, and this is a more of a grab and go bar. It seemed only one flavour of the ice cream tasted good, which was the limited edition flavour which is a shame, due to declining quality of all and very poor quality flavours I feel this place deserves a single one star.
