I began seeing Karina following the birth of my first child, when my OCD suddenly took a very scary turn. Her profound understanding of my condition allowed me to open up in a way I never believed I could feel safe enough to do. Fellow OCD sufferers, if you see this, I know it can look very different and be a lot scarier than what media would have you believe. Karina understands that, too. She offered unparalleled support through my ERP therapy, and I can honestly say it's because of her that I'm not only functioning but living my best life. Thank you, Karina!

She is compassionate, relatable, and understanding yet will effectively confront issues head on and challenge your old ways of thinking. I found Karina after deciding talk therapy wasn't working and wanted to try a more active approach. The first thing I noticed was that she was extremely perceptive and just by talking to me and observing my behaviors pointed out problematic thoughts and actions right off the bat that no one else has ever bothered to notice. These included obsessive behaviors and hoarding tendencies. We worked together to find constructive ways of changing behaviors using CBT. If you want to find real solutions and take action I can't recommend Karina enough. After working with her I realized I had wasted so much money on other therapists who did little more than sit and listen without offering real solutions. I am now in such a better place and I can't thank Karina enough helping me get here.

However, like many, I ran into a lot of obstacles as I reached my forties. Death of family members, the separation of a friend, children that have disowned me, and much more. At the time, I thought I was handling these issues in the proper way. I was praying, reading the bible, trying hard to forgive, and finding myself failing repeatedly. Around March of 2021, I told my wife I needed a counselor. I just knew I needed some help navigating my pains and struggles. I searched for a while but found nothing that seemed to fit. Then one day, I was reading our small local newspaper and saw an ad that Katherine had posted. It did not say much, but I knew I was to call. Thank goodness I did. There were a couple of things that threw me off initially. First, I was expecting to go see a counselor and sit in a chair to vent all my frustrations. Instead, she used Telehealth. I was used to this in business but had never really considered it for counseling. It was very convenient, saved travel time, and was like I was in the room, but from the comfort of my own surroundings. Second, I immediately began to understand that it was not counseling but was "Soul Care". With Katherine's help I was learning how to properly handle all that life was throwing at me. And to really hear what God was saying about all the issues I was dealing with. One of the methods she used is called Brainspotting. Honestly, I recoiled at this word initially. However, I found that it was a very practical way for me to focus my attention to allow God to reveal important truths to me. It was actually quite amazing. Over the following six months, my life was flipped upside down, in a good way. Katherine has one of the most awesome gifts I have ever come across. She let me talk and then in an understanding and gentle way navigated me through some of the darkest places in my heart and soul that I had never even thought to touch. Being led by Holy Spirit, she is able to ask questions and make statements that I was unable to even consider. As I answered, I began to see some of the causes for my innermost pain. With her help, I was then able to process them, repent where necessary, and come to the closest relationship I have had with God in a long time. I also should mention that I did a lot of work on my own, at Katherines direction, that was very hard. Looking into yourself can be a painful but revealing process. However, I don't think it is an understatement to say that it was truly a miracle. The discontent, unhappy person I was a few months ago is now quite the opposite. I would encourage anyone who is questioning whether to work with Katherine, to not hesitate. Why wait to be the person God made you to be.

I will say it has been rough in the past but in my opinion former employees have not been entirely honest and using ONLY negative experiences. In the 3 years I have been here I have seen many kids grow and move on to the next chapter in their life confidently with the help of the team of this center. Although it has been rough with former employees, we have a great staff here in the center now that I can guarantee you're kids will have a different outlook then what you're hearing about. All of my co workers want nothing but the best for these kids and will get them the therapy they need to succeed in the next chapter which is essentially school :) I hope this helps anybody looking for ABA therapy for their child in the Denver metro area

So they sent me somewhere else for 3 weeks, then I transferred to another location which was close to my home. When I first got there I automatically felt bullied by other RBT's. Working here felt like high school. Management does not care for their employees, you could be sick or going through traumatic experiences and management will not care. There is only one BCBA there who genuinely cared for the RBT's. The kids are not being well taken care of either. The CA who is currently working at this location does not care for the kids or the RBT's. She would take coffee breaks with her boyfriend ON THE CLOCK even when the center was needing help. She would treat everyone like they are 5 years old and would also threaten people's pay. She is a very insensitive and inconsiderate person. So many RBTs have left because of her and due to her lack of management. I did more than I should have for this place because at the end of the day I was there to help my clients, everything I did went unnoticed and I was not appreciated. I don't recommend working here or bringing your kids here, it will mess up your mental health and your kid will most likely come out injured.
